So the gold chain that came with my necklace i was gifted was gold but thin and cheap I needed something more sustainable being a mother of small children with touchy hands. As much as i would love a solid gold box chain necklace they are EXPENSIVE! so looked for alternatives and this one fit the bill i love that it is 925 silver dipped 18k gold. and not some other base metal. i wear all day every day shower and all and still looks nice with no discoloration of the necklace or my neck itself. I would highly recommend. Definitely money well spent. Unless you knew you would never assume this necklace isn't solid gold.

Ordered this so I could attach a holy medal to it. I wear the chain and medal constantly, never removing. Have had it about a month and so far so good, still bright and pretty and sturdy. I appreciate Italian craftsmanship and expect this to go the distance.

Perfect size to add your dainty charm too. It will discolor eventually but I’ve had it for 2 months in the shower and salt water and hasn’t discolored yet.
