works great
perfect replacement for my old hygrometer

Not digital, but is one of the more accurate cheap hygrometers.
Bought several lookalikes, but this one is a keeper. A lot of these cheap hygrometers don't calibrate and don't actuate, but this one does it for me, might have gotten lucky, but i'll give it a five star based on its comparison to others. Also, this is not digital.

IT WORKS
The hygrometer I had in my humidor died, so this is a replacement. So far, I'm very impressed! I calibrated it in a Ziploc bag using a 62% Boveda hydration pack. After 48 hours, it settled at almost exactly 10% higher than it should have been reading. I adjusted it with a small flathead screwdriver through the back, and left it out for a day, then tried again. Second time in the Ziploc bag with the hydration pack, and it settled on exactly 62% and stayed there. It's now in my humidor, and doing its job! I was skeptical about how well this little thing would work, based on the simplistic design and reasonable price however, it's well made, easy to calibrate, and it works!

Not calibrated
You will need a second one to calibrate it. (Or use salt truck in bag) Mine was 7 points off. Had to buy new batteries for my old electric one to get it setup right.

Significantly inaccurate.
Simply inaccurate. In a sealed container with 4 other hygrometers reading around 67%, this read 50%.

Good hydrometer and easy to use
This hydrometer is pretty easy to use and the accuracy of my was 5 points below the real value, which was pretty simple to adjust on the back of the device. Good product. The picture attached was right after the adjustment.

Worth it if you calibrate
Stays very accurate after a number of years. I keep a digital and this in my humidor because I had extra in a pack and they both read the same. I’m surprised since I hear you have to recalibrate after a while but this is still on after years. Be sure to set it up properly and you can be confident it’s correct.

quick insert in my cigar box pre made hole !
Perfect fit on my cigar box , I adjusted by placing a digital hygrometer inside cigar box , waited 15 minutes and all set. So far so good.
