Good pens good value

I purchased the Shuttle Art 24‑colour permanent marker set for use in training sessions, workshops and general office activities, and they’ve been a really good value alternative to the more expensive Sharpie brand. The colour range is excellent, with vibrant, consistent ink that works well across a variety of surfaces including card, plastic, wood and flipchart paper. In everyday business use, the markers perform reliably. The ink flows smoothly, dries quickly and doesn’t smudge, which is especially helpful during fast‑paced sessions where materials need to be handled immediately. The pens are comfortable to hold, and the fine‑point tips make them great for clear writing on smaller labels, cards and detailed materials. My only suggestion would be to offer a slightly thicker writing tip. The current fine point is great for precision tasks, but when writing headings or larger text on flipchart paper, the lines can look a little thin compared to standard workshop markers. A medium‑thick option would make them more versatile for facilitators and trainers. That said, the overall quality is excellent for the price, and the durability of the ink has held up well across frequent use. The set is also long‑lasting — none of the markers have dried out prematurely, even with heavy use in training environments. Overall, these permanent markers are a reliable, colourful and cost‑effective choice for offices, facilitators, L&D teams and anyone looking for a solid alternative to Sharpies. They do exactly what they promise and offer great performance for the value.

I really like these pens! The colour range is gorgeous and the opacity is spot on. I’ve knocked off one star because they can dry out a little quickly, so the longevity isn’t quite perfect. I use mine mainly for colouring, and they perform beautifully for that. Just be careful not to let large areas dry midway, as it can leave streaks. I’d definitely buy them again! My only wish is to be able to purchase individual pens — but honestly, I feel that way about all my favourites. ★★★★☆
