Spend 10 to save 1000
This has proved to be a simple way to prevent the cats from doing major damage to my couches. I had to replace a previous set due to our four cats' incessant need to claw at something to sharpen their nails. I was not going to let that happen to my new furniture set, so I ordered this, mostly because they did not require any sort of push pins to secure them to the couches. I like that because a product meant to protect your furniture should not also do damage itself in the installation. I can recommend these as a sound way to avoid such problems in the future.

Best investment i ever made.!
After buying cat scratchers, cat towers, cat toys. My cats had started to scratch my frames in my doorways, and then on my furniture. I was told to try cayenne pepper, spray bottles, all kinds of remedies, all of which never worked. So then I had seen these one day,and decided whats the worst that can happen.? These are seriously a God send. I absolutely love that their sheets, not strips. There's more than enough in a pack, and they aren't expensive at all. You can cut to fit wherever you need it,abd the best part is,THEY WORK.!haha immediately after I put them on,the scratching stopped. I bought these last year;I still have some in the package after covering all if my furniture and the areas on the doorways they were scratching. And its all still sticking, even if the front isn't sticky yet,the back is,and it still keeps the cats from scratching it. I've reccomended this to numerous people already, and I will continue to reccomend it to anyone. It goes on literally any surface, and does the job.

NO MORE RUINED FURNITURE!
My cat was slowly ruining my couch. I read the reviews online about these sheets and decided to try it out. WOW- these double sticky sheets are awesome. She quit scratching the couch right away so after about a month I took it off. Well, she started scratching again and I just put a new one right back on. It didn't ruin my couch when I took it off which was a plus. The only thing I didn't like about it was that if I rubbed a blanket up next to the sheet, it obviously got stuck (due to double sided sticky tape-DUH) so it would just catch fuzz and hair on it which was pretty gross but not a big deal to change it. But I would rather have to change the sticky sheets ever so often rather than buy brand new furniture. Plus, it came with quite a few sheets and I still have a ton left over.

So far so good
Little Chachi has a scratch post and the cardboard block, but for whatever #cat reason, she loves the touch of upholstery beneath her claws. Clapping & "no" wasn't doing the trick, sending her telepathic images of only scratching the post and cardboard was also not working. These little sheets of plastic sticker, however slightly unsightly, have deterred her from destroying the couch. A little expensive for what it is, and, better than a shredded sofa!

Well...he DID stop scratching!!
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. So I have this cat. He was rescued from our shed at about a week old, 4 years ago, after his biological mom dropped him while trying to jump up into a bag hanging up. She broke his back hips. So what does every good and feral mom do when their baby is broken? Yes, eat them. By the time we found onyx, she had chowed off his back leg. (She also ate almost an entire sibling, but we won’t go there)So here we have our lovely tuxedo tripod cat, Onyx. He has anxiety when separated from his human boy. Really bad anxiety. He props himself up on that in-eaten leg and he scratches at the bedroom door all night. His little front feet can go pretty fast when he’s scratching. The human boy wasn’t getting any sleep with all this ruckus going on, and letting Onyx in was causing litter box emergencies to happen in the room. One day I stumble upon these focuspet sticky sheets. I thought, hey that’s worth a try!! I ordered them and put them on the human boys door. Lo and behold! Onyx DID NOT like them touching his feet!! Hallelujah!!! The problem is fixed!! So I will say, these adhere very easily. They are not visible unless you are really looking for them. And both cats HATE to touch them. They worked!!Some have viewed my video and said “Dang that cat sure is slow. His bio mama really did a number on him when she dropped him!” I say, if you look at the other side of it...he’s pretty smart. He figured out how to “knock” all night long without getting his paws sticky.Well now after he’s been upstairs licking glue off the door, he comes down here acting like a squirrel on an acid trip. So I think the sheets are going to have to come down. Back to the drawing board.

In terms of application:- The first one I ruined because it stuck to me and to itself before I could get it on the sofa.- These went on very easily WHEN the area of the sofa to be covered was the arm-rest edge.- These were adequate when the area of the sofa to be covered was just the flat side.- These were difficult to work with when the area of the sofa to be covered required them to be cut, or was along a more complex area (e.g. chaise cushion upper and lower).- The last one I ruined because it stuck to me and to itself before I could get it on the sofa.Results:- Troublesome cat pulled one of them down (granted it was one I messed up).- We keep banging into them when sitting onto the sofa. The good news is they're essentially double sided tape, so it acts as a cat fur de-linter.- Troublesome cat found areas of the sofa NOT covered in these to scratch.

Unbelievably easy to use!
What I like about these is that they are thin enough to be almost invisible, and it was very easy to remove the protective covering once they were attached to the furniture. It only takes a few minutes to cover areas of your furniture and it works. The cat does not even look at the chair since I put the protectors on the sides and back areas which were his favorite places to scratch. Buying more to use on the sectional.
