Giro Kids' Scamp Cycling Helmet

This little Giro helmet has the build quality and details of their adult helmets. Nice pads, straps, clip and adjustments. It didn't take my 1yr old long to come around to the weird thing I was trying to put on his head. It fits really well (although the chin strap is just about snug enough, and he's only going to get bigger). It's nice and light and a known company that I trust it is well made. We need to hide the helmets now as when our kid sees them he wants us all to put them on and go out on the bike...no matter when!

If you have a child seat and a typical helmet, you will be familiar with your child's discomfort regarding the thickness of the helmet at the back, bumping up against the backrest of the child seat and pushing their head forwards. This has a very well designed and appropriately sized rear... unlike myself.This is a great product, and I disagree that it is expensive! This is a proper mountain bike helmet, with MIPS, not just a tick box to say "does it cover the child's head", this device WILL protect my son's head, should the worst happen.Looks good too.Highly recommend

Stylish helmet that is well made. Has a twisty adjustment dial on the back which is good, but cant say i've used it much. Strap works fine but does require two hands to undo, which can be a bit frustrating when you've got your hands full, but it does ensure it doesn't loosen which is good. My 3 year old can't take it off by herself, but not necessarily a bad thing. It's very lightweight as you'd expect.

I bought it for 3 years old boy. Perfect size. Good quality. Easy to adjust.

We havent been out on the bike yet and hopefully we will never find the need to test this in a crash. It was extremely easy to adjust and fit and he can't pull it off. It seems comfortable and is nice and light with loads of room left. I like the bright colours and the emergency info sticker that came with it.This is being worn by a sturdy 15 month old with the adjustments almost at their smallest point. However we have found that, adjusted all the way out, it just fits my 8 year old as well! That's some impressive adjustability.

Seems safe, lightweight sturdy. Is easy for an adult to out on and remove from child but tricky for child to remove. 1yr old quite likes to put things in his mouth for investigation and has previously done this with my helmet simply leaving teeth marks. With this, however, he was easily able to bite a whole piece out immediately after putting it to his mouth for the first time! Was surprised

Bought this for my grandson age 5 as his first bike helmet , fully adjustable, very comfortable , he wouldn't take it off as he liked it that much

Great helmet fit is spot on and adjustment is easy. Hadls been crash tested, shame it didn't have a chi'n guard though. Nevermind chicks dig scars.

Wir haben den Helm für unseren 4 jährigen Sohn bestellt. Er sieht gut aus und unser Sohn ist absolut Happy. Aufsetzen tut er ihn ausschließlich allein.
