Samsung 23.6-Inch Wide Viewing Angle LED Monitor (S24D360HL)

I have a different 27" Samsung monitor (S27B350H, Touch of Color) plus this one, both bases are pretty much the same, and both are indeed very wobbly. I had my first monitor on the flimsiest Walmart desk and it wobbled when I typed or from the slightest movements. I have bashed into that desk several times, as I'm a very clumsy person, and the monitor would wobble precariously with the desk leaning (I was actually more worried about my desk collapsing rather than the monitor toppling). However! Despite all the wobble, my monitor had never fallen or come close to falling -- it's like the base is suctioned to the desk...probably something to do with those little square thingys on the bottom (?)... and the monitor is weighted perfectly in relation to the large base. This white monitor (S27D360H) wobbles in the exact same way and actually feels sturdier than my other one. The bases are almost identical and I felt more than comfortable buying this new monitor, despite all the negative reviews about the appeared flimsiness.TL;DR -- It wobbles, but I would not worry about the monitor toppling over. Beautiful for my gaming, browsing, everything needs, and I plan on buying a second one soon.

Purchased this Samsung wide screen PC Monitor to replace a Samsung standard 4:3 monitor which went bad after 4 years (kept going black). Tried looking at PC Monitors for sale at COSTCO, didn't like what they had to offer. My old Samsung monitor had a height adjustment, and very few, if any PC monitors today, have this feature. Fortunately this did not discourage me from making this purchase as my monitor(s) sit atop two stacked VuRisers. This monitor does tilt forward and backward to suit the user. Searched the Internet far and wide and read several reviews before considering this model. Like many reviewers, the monitor's image is very bright right out of the box. I toned it down to Brightness and Contrast Levels of 55. Some reviewers reported too much wobble, but I have not experienced this problem. The only issue I have with this unit is the menu function. It is not user friendly in my mind, and it made for tedious screen settings. Other than that, I love this monitor and all the extra screen "real estate" I get as opposed to my former 4:3 monitor. Also, love the silver-white frame with water blue color stand.

Sleek, good looking monitor. I needed something with 360 degree visual appeal, potential for gaming, and that also looked good with a custom white BitFenix case. This monitor looks great on my desk- even with the back fully exposed to my living room. The blue trim softens the white so that it ends up looking more like part of the decor than a purely functional item. Super bright screen- I get no glare even when the lamp directly above the monitor is on.Downsides:- It does wobble a little side-to-side if it's on a desk that moves a lot. That doesn't apply to my desk, but I did notice the wobble that others mentioned while arranging everything. Would not stop me from buying again.- The cables this comes with are black, which is weird since it means they don't match the product. I bought a white DVI to HDMI cable separately that vastly improves the look of the back of the monitor. If you plan on being able to see the back, I highly recommend considering white cables.

I have owned alot of monitors in my life and this monitor is purely amazing, the viewing angle and brightness are perfect from any direction, and the size is perfect for playing games, skyping, or doing whatever you enjoy. It also looks extremely nice sitting on a desk, almost like an apple product. I play this one game in particular that this monitor completely brings to life, the vanishing of ethan carter, with this monitor i actually felt i was in the game. The game mode actually works well too not like other monitors ive had. I really recommend this monitor if you want the best experience you can get for gaming at HD 1080. It blows my mind how great technology has become and this monitor is a perfect representation of the latest technology out there.Sorry for the dark picture as my room is dark and i didnt want to activate the flash on my camera, but i think the most important part is how the game looks on the monitor and i think it looks nice. hope this helps!! After some tweaking of the settings, the display is pretty good. Photos look incredible. Text could of course be shaper, has me wondering if I would have been happier with the 24 inch version. The stand is a real problem. I followed the instructions carefully and the one screw is nice and tight. If you touch the onscreen menus with anything more than the slightest touch, the monitor wobbles quite a bit. Same if the desk gets jostled even a little. The stem is just too small too support a 27 inch monitor. I also had trouble with the monitor coming back reliably when I woke my MacBook Pro from sleep via the keyboard or mouse - something that worked flawlessly with my old Dell monitor. I suspect my unit might be defective as not even the onscreen menus would display when I was having this problem. For these reasons I've returned it.

This is a very attractive monitor and it was a good deal for the price. However, after a few weeks the screen went black with some vertical striping. After trying all the suggested remedies in the user manual, different HDMi cables, etc. I had to return it to Amazon. It certainly could have just been a lemon, and perhaps another would have been fine. However, since I would have to go two days awaiting a replacement I decided that I could not take the risk losing the productivity during shipping time sticking with a replacement of the same monitor if it failed again. I went with a competitor's offering that was around the same price with similar features, which has been running strong for four months.Amazon customer service was amazing as always, I received a prompt refund and had my new monitor within 2 days.
