The best thing was just that I had the foresight to replace this after I broke the one my partner already had bought. It seems a bit expensive to put our soap and sink sponges on, but, it makes her happy so it makes me happy. Never have put a cake on it, but I'm sure you could put all sorts of things on it, a pair of shoes, a dog doo, 5 empty beers cans, a bo jackson bobblehead. This cake plate is your oyster.

I have never been disappointed by a Mosser glass cake pedestal. I have bought other pricier brands, but nothing compares to Mosser. Very nice thick glass. Pedestal made of one complete piece (this is not a plate glued to a candle stick.) Very sturdy. Simply beautiful! Such an elegant dessert presentation.

This cake stand is so beautiful and sturdy. I purchased the 10 inch and plated an 8 inch italian cream cake on it. It fit wonderfully with the 10 inch Mosser dome. Love it! Will definitely order additional colors.

I have a vintage jadeite collection and I am using this on my bathroom counter to hold product. It was very well packaged and exactly what I was looking for. It matches the vintage pretty closely.

Love that it is made in the USA. It is beautiful, heavy, classic, and the color is just as pictured. We used it as a cupcake stand along with a 12" Mosser Glass stand. Together (and overlapping slightly) they held 22 cupcakes.

It's very heavy and well balanced. since it's one piece there is no issue of the pedestal being off-center or poorly mounted as I noted in reviews of other cake stands. Excellent packing. I also ordered the dome to go with it and it's great to. Get the dome, you won't be sorry.

What a sweet little stand. It's perfect for a small pumpkin at Thanksgiving or a small Christmas decoration.
