Used with my 220v air compressor. It works great.

Failed in the ON position on second use. Had to cut power at circuit box to shut down. When I opened the box, the spring and retention contact flew out. I could not get it to go back together. Junk.

I'm constructing an inline on/off switch for my air compressor -- this switch will work perfectly in tandem with the Legrand-Pass and Seymour L620P & L620C plug and connector, respectively. I haven't yet assembled it, but my initial assessment is everything will go together seamlessly. The ON portion of the switch stays engaged when pressed; the OFF portion disengages the ON switch when it is depressed. (The OFF switch does not stay engaged -- it is a press / release type switch.) Nicely manufactured -- the overall product should operate the way I envision it functioning.

Switch works fine. You need to seal the inlet and outlet holes if you want to use it out doors. But so far it worked good for turning on and off a 220v deep well pump. And i do have it mounted outside.

Just what I needed and such a great price! I ordered a few variations of these to figure out which one worked best as a reset switch for my kitchen cook top. This one won the test hands down! Super easy to wire up and fits great into cutouts. Highly recommended!

Nice sturdy case but the internals are flimsy plastic and poorly made. Avoid.

bought 2 times, both times the plastic parts inside were broken upon arrival, My package was not damaged, this is a product issue. to the point that when i first tried to press the on button after opening the box, it broke, both times, before it ever got fit! Go with someone else! zero function, looks like the outside material is cheap too, zero value for the price, arriving broken made installing impossible.

If the application isn’t obvious, ad a sign to promote pushing the button all the way in.

Easy to install

After a short time in operation the Start button stayed in and wouldn't release. Upon inspection, I noted that the locking mechanism keeping the Start button engaged is made of thin plastic parts that appear to be very fragile. Even if it didn’t fail so quickly, it seems to be too flimsy to last on a machine that is used often.

I knew what to expect after reading reviews. I wasn't disappointed and I'm surprised! I bought this switch to replace an old switch on a power hack saw, when the saw finishes cutting; a little metal finger attached to the head of the saw pushes down on the stop button and I don't have to babysit the machine. I only expected the switch to last a little while after heavy use, considering a heavy piece of metal is constantly pushing down on the assembly. But its lasted this long and I'm happy. The ground wire is on the outside of the enclosure which is unusual.
