Hicarer Quartz Pendulum Clock Movement DIY Movement Kits with 2 Pairs Hands and Pendulum

Replaced a broken clock mechanism that had a pendulum feature. It installed easily and as an added bonus this new mechanism had a "second" hand, which my old mechanism did not have. I let it run overnight to verify that the time was accurate. I could have gotten the same mechanism for a little less, but this version had black hands that closely matched my old mechanism. I had to "trim" the arms because they were longer than needed, but the hands were easy to cut with scissors.Very pleased with how easy it was to replace, it's accurate and it was a good value.

This timepiece was easy to install, keeps accurate time, and the pendulum feature works perfectly.

Sure, the clock is accurate and the new motor was easy to install, but the pendulum movement has a six inch side to side swing. Entertaining, but not very realistic.

This met my needs. I have a mantel clock that I had made the case for many years ago but the mechanical works had stopped working. I decided I wanted a quartz mechanism and ordered this. I had to do some modifications to make it work properly. The hands were too long so I can trim the ends of them. They were gold which did not show up very well against the white cock face so I painted them black. I remove the pendulum mechanism since I didn't need it. And I used a metal washer as a spacer since the hands were too close to the face. But after doing all of that it's working perfectly and looks great and it was only about 13 bucks for the mechanism. I'm sure it would've been much more to get it done at a clock shop.

having the option of seeing the various hands made it great! I never would have thought the black would look the best.

I didn’t get enough information on the specs. The pendulum is shorter than the one I have. It was easy to install, I’m satisfied with my results.

Working well so far. The black hands were really poor quality so I painted the fancy hands black and put the movement in the clock case. The battery compartment is a tight fit - I had to use a small screwdriver to insert the battery. It's been keeping accurate time now for a few weeks.
