Ice Cube Tray Mould - AK Bullet

The Ice tray is great for if you want ice pretty fast and you want them to look like Ak-47 bullets. A little note is that they do not turn out 100% like picture. The Ice cubes seem to always have an outline of ice that breaks off easily but sometimes breaks the bullet in half..although this can be a pain the tray is sweet and it is made out of hard plastic so it will last quite a while if taken care of anyways.

Not an easy fill and empty process but the ice is perfect for those long skinny neck bottles or vases you have that need a little extra. Add food coloring to see the ice better.

I second most of the other negative reviews here. Got the product since it was a couple of dollars (on sale) and I wanted a couple ice cube trays for my new apartment's fridge. Well, even those couple of dollars were a waste. It's plastic and two sided, and the bullets created are quite small like others said. The most annoying part for me is getting the ice out, it's really not even worth using it over any other ice tray. There's four clips around the perimeter, which are a pain and a half to open especially when it's frozen; I have to use my teeth on at least one or two of the clips quite often; not worth it. In addition, the 'bullets' don't quite look as such, there's often a very thin ice layer connecting the bullets so it creates this line or 'contour' (like ones indicative of mold-shaped plastic products) which definitely detract from any initial hint of a bullet (to get it closer to looking like a bullet, you can brush off the protruding layer off each bullet, leaving a smaller contour, but really is it worth any effort, especially with its other flaws? No). It becomes a few weird-looking ice sticks in a drink (all the "bullets" from one mold freeze is enough for one or two drinks), which would be cool if they were straight or something, but nope, because they're meant to be shaped as bullets it's just elongated chunks of ice for which you went through too much effort to get into your drink.

While it is tricky to fill competely, and the ice tends to have extra bits around the edges or chunks missing due to air bubbles, this is a great little item. The bullet cubes are definitely recognizable as such, and they always draw attention. Plus they fit through narrow openings such as water bottles.

This shape is great for what my son needs to use it for...a narrow necked vase-like bottle that needs ice cubes, and the shape is just as advertised. The problem is that the top and the bottom of the mold do not keep together very well. Once I fill it with water and put the lid on, water drips out as I carry it to the freezer, because the top does not lock down tightly. It must be kept perfectly level (which is difficult to do in my freezer), or it will lose enough water to affect the shape of the ice. Except for that little glitch, the shape comes out as advertised, and freezing time is very quick.

I picked up 3 of these, and they work ok. The thing to remember, in order to get the nice clear bullets shown in the pictures is that you have to use distilled water. Thats the only way to get the perfectly clear bullets.Filling is simple, you fill them with water until it's at the top edge of the tray, gently press the top half down so that the water comes out of the small holes at the top, then place them in the freezer. Simple as that!If done right, you should end up with some decent bullet shaped icecubes. Make sure you press them tightly together though, or you'll get that ice flashing around the edges of each.Great novelty item, though if you just want ice, there are probably easier ways to make it.

It isn't big enough, the ice doesn't say together to actually look like a bullet. The snaps that hold it together were almost broken when I got it you could tell it had stress on it. One of the snaps won't even come off I have to pull it apart and let it snap apart to get the ice out. I know it's only 5$ but go waste your 5$ on something else. This thing isn't worth 5 cents

We originally bought this NG 4000 AK Ice Tray as a gag gift. But after we received it, we had to try it. It worked perfectly! My friend ended up getting a few more and we made ice for days from these trays. We eventually used the ice in punch at a country wedding. The ice was the talk of the day! I would highly recommend this item to anyone that has country family members or knows someone in the military. The ice that is made from this product is nicely sized and the item cleans up perfectly. I did not try this ice tray in the dishwasher.
