Excellent quality and craftsmanship. Proud to have it sitting in the open because of its attractiveness. The glass infuser works well and is easy to clean. Very well pleased with my purchase. Tea taste is top level. The 33.8 oz size easily makes three 10 oz (big) cups of gunpowder green tea. This is my favorite pot!!! Would definitely purchase again and thinking about buying a larger one!

I would not recommend putting this tea pot on a flame or stove. The glass seems to be too delicate to handle direct flame or heat, but I never intended to use it in this manner anyway, so it is all good. Definitely a good buy if you intend on using this tea pot as a tea pot and not as a tea kettle, which is an entirely different type of device. For those who don't know the difference a tea pot is a device used for brewing tea where already hot water is added and it is allowed to brew. A tea kettle is a device used for making water hot for the purposes of making tea (or other purposes, though tea is most common). I know that electric kettles are not common in North America but if one is serious about drinking good tea (or coffee for that matter) I would recommend getting an electric kettle. Krups puts out a very good one.

This teapot is very dantiy! Small, pretty and delicate. I love it! I purchased it because I love making and drinking hot tea. I wanted something that doesn't release chemicals when used and can sustain the heat. That's why I chose this Tea Pot it's supposedly made of Borosilicate glass.

When I first opened the box, , I could not believe it would hold 32 ounces, but it definitely does! We used it at a party to serve a blooming Jasmine tea and it was pretty and functional. I use it almost daily now to brew iced tea. Would recommend, especially if would enjoy a smaller and stylish tea pot to display a beautiful tea.

This made me really sad, honestly. So we’ve had it for a while now and used it a few times. The handle is NOT heat resistant I burnt my hand the first time figuring that out. There was also a very nasty dark film that formed the second time using it on the bottom of the handle that I could not wash off. The lid to this broke the second use after slipping off the counter into the sink. The spout is kind of oddly placed, you can’t fill it very high without water boiling out of it soaking the stove without fail every time. It doesn’t hold much to begin with. It also held gunk so badly, I’d wash it put it on the stove which was cleaned prior and moved while cooking and it just always looked dirty which was unfortunate because I love the clean aesthetic. Well today it broke on the stove after washing and making sure it wasn’t too cold for a rapid temperature change and it shattered, no prior drop or cracking. This was fairly pricey for the quality. I really wanted to love this. I’m not sure if my pot was faulty or what but I’m devastated. I think the glass needs to be thicker and the promise of heat resistance to be held up.

I gave this to my boss so that she could steep her tea in something other than a measuring cup and she loves it because now she can heat the water and steep the tea in the same vessel and it’s pretty and she drinks tea every day. Great gift.

I decided to put off writing a review on this teapot until I had it for a while. So now I've had it and have been using it consistently for eight months. The spout stains easily from the tannins in the tea--that's my only complaint. I have never put it directly on to the stove as that just seems like a stupid thing to do. I have not dropped it, not even once. It has not ever cracked; there are not chips; it is durable; it can handle very hot water (one of the necessary components of tea.) The handle does not get hot mainly as I do not put it directly on the stove, where I'm sure it would get very hot. It is for me the perfect tea pot. And it is at a very good price. Update (August 2024): The teapot is still in excellent condition after almost daily use. I still don't understand why anyone would have a problem with this item.
