can KWh be reset to zero?

I don't think you can, HOWEVER I suggest you contact Owen Brothers tech support (they are very good) . I read the OB115 via RS485 to an Arduino so resetting is not important, i just do that in my code.

Will this output data via a port?

This Meter has RS485 terminals and communicates via Modbus RTU protocol. The meter can be read with most Modbus software.
