YUMBOX Leakproof Bento Lunch Box Container (Framboise Pink) for Kids and Adults

Purchased this lunchbox for my 7 year old. At the price, I was really hoping it was going to be worth the steep price. I must admit I love this box. It really is leakproof and it has made packing lunches so much more convenient. I have 2 of these - one for my 9 year old. I am removing one star because the exterior has given me some cause for concern. I wish it were more durable. The Tutti Fritti has been dropped and it cracked. We are still using it (a little taped up) and it still does the job. I also purchased a Bentgo kids box for my 5 year old. I think the look of the YumBox yields itself to my older kids and the Bentgo looks more suitable for my kindergarter- they both work well and are truly leakproof. These Yumboxes are easier than the Bentgo boxes to get into standard lunchbags

I researched quite a few bento-style lunch boxes before buying this one - and I'm glad that I did.It's cute, it doesn't leak (I filled it full of water and sat it on its side for a couple of hours - not a drop), and the compartments are just the right size for a balanced lunch. My daughter (6) has issues with some latches, but this one is easy for her to operate without compromising the integrity of the container, even when dropped.I bought a standard ToysRus character lunchbox and it fits perfectly with an icepack and utensil.Just one thing... if you put something that is more liquid than not... it does make a mess in the lid. That's not a big-big deal but since my daughter prefers not to scavenge for her food... I found a solution. I cut a piece of GLAD Press-n-Seal to contain things like yogurt, applesauce, ranch dressing, etc... and she can just peel it off at lunch time.

We have been using this box for my kindergarten daughter who has food allergies. I LOVE it, because it keeps her food contained and protected from spills or allergens that could be on surfaces. Its really easy to wash. I wash the plastic removable center piece either by hand or in the dishwasher every night, and just hand was he the case and lay it out to dry. Its very durable, and very cute! :)

I really like this bento box for little ones. I was initially a bit hesitant to spend this much on something for kids, but am happy I did. It secures tightly yet the latch is easy for little fingers (2.5 year old is fine with it). Enough room for a child's lunch, but not a hungry adult for sure. It fits perfectly in the Skip Hop zoo lunchie insulated lunch bag, FYI.

I hesitated getting this box because I thought it was a little pricey, but we have been using this box daily for over a month now and it was WELL worth the price. I almost wish I had an extra one. This box is easy to fill and seals each section well. We have not had any issues with leaking at all. I absolutely LOVE this box!

Works as described. I bought one for all four of my kids, kinder through middle school and they work like a dream. We are saving money on plastic baggies, pre packaged lunch box items, and we now have a bigger variety of choices of foods to send in my kids' lunches. Highly recommend!

Would have been a 5 star review except I receive this item with a scratch on the top. Only option I have is to return it and wait for a new one. I needed it right away for when my daughter started Summer fun so waiting for a new one to come in is out of the question. I really like the product, the concept, the size, the color. Just really disappointed that it came to me damaged.

I got this for my kindergartner. I wanted a bento box that she could easily open and close herself and this fits the bill. It's a more expensive item but I really love how the compartments are separated and I don't have to use a bunch of sandwich bags or snack bags. We put this in a regular zip-top lunch box and it fits fine with a water bottle as well.
