According to the package I got, as long as you give it time to dry, it is pet friendly... I think it only kills invertebrates... (Which your Dog or Cat is not...) You just don't want them to drink the mix... Also if you have pet birds, don't let them eat the bugs that have died from the mix... So I recommend getting all the people and pets and put them in the car/truck and take them to the park or beach and then go back spray inside and out really good, then take a shower and put your cloths in the wash, then join your family and then keep them away for at least 3-4 hours, unless it's hot, then only need about 1-1/2 hours, but just make sure it's not "Wet" when you bring them back.... That's just my opinion and what I would do... But I don't have any pets, so I don't have to worry about it.... But my friends have pets and they have used my mix for many years without any problems with their pets... One of my friends kids brought home bed bugs and within a week they were all over their home and within 2 sprayings they were gone... Sprayed and sprayed again within 4 days... Just put plastic over beds after spraying and wait 6 months spray again if you like, and wait another month or so and if you don't see any more then you can replace the beds, but if you replace the beds too soon, and you didn't spray perfectly they will get into your new bed and start all over... They are very hard to kill because they can go a long time without feeding, so you have to make sure you spray good, and rap the beds in plastic so you don't come in contact with the spray... Hope this helps...

How long is the treatment effective? I want to know how often we need to apply to this since there are products that says it works for 12 mo. Thanks

I’m a contractor and maintenance person. I live by this product. It will last approximately 3 months. I wouldn’t wait any longer. You want to be proactive. Treat every 3 months aNd you will see dead bugs everywhere. Even after a rainstorm dead bugs will start showing up as they come from different areas and expose themselves to the treatment and turn up dead. Best product on the market. Trust me I’ve tried them all. I’m purchasing more right now as we speak.

Why wont amazon ship this item?

They shipped to me... But I don't recommend ordering gallons of anything!! These little bottles are fine, and if they don't now, other places do...
