Brush and Pencil Colored Pencil Titanium White

This is a very nice archival white powder that is to be mixed with water to make what I like to call a thin opaque paint. I knew about this product due to a respected professional artist of the Derwent Inktense tins, and her name is Lisa Lachri. I use this in my colored pencil drawings and it gives the highlights that I want and the chance to correct a mistake if I make one. This is a bit smaller than I expected as it comes in a make-up sample size container, but in respect a little goes a long way with this. It’s worth the money considering that this little container lasts longer than several white colored pencils respectively. It’s easy to use and pretty straightforward. I’ll buy it again knowing with confidence this white will last

Finally able to put white in colored pencil drawings where nothing else worked .. it’s a shame that Amazon doesn’t sell the Brush and Pencil Touch Up Texture, which is needed to be used in tandem with the titanium white

I think the product will be great once I’m able to use! I didn’t realize it was a powder. Amazon needs to sell the right brush and more importantly, the ‘touch up liquid’ to turn the powder into a working solution. You need the touch up liquid to use this product. So, the four stars reflect the lack of understanding that this product needed an extra product. I’m pretty sure that once I have the other product it will be a 5 Star product, but it should have been sold as a combo set.

Did you want some WHITE for that highlight? If you do colored pencils you know that white highlights can be a tearful experience for sure. And if you are selling work the old gel pen or whiteout just won't cut it either. Give this material a whirl, I bet you will love it. They have other great products as well but for some reason they are not available here on Amazon (yet). If you want to go next lever on your colored pencil work you need to try this stuff out.

Although I haven’t used it very much yet, I think it will be helpful for use with my colored pencil work.

To use with a color pencil Portrait. To help blend the colors. Works great!!!

I purchased this item for color pencil blending. It appears to be a good product. You are able to work white areas back into your layers which gets lost while blending colored pencils. you also can get the right highlights worked into your color pencil art work, where as having to use white pencil in your color pencil set doesn't always achieve the same results. I really like this product and I highly recommend it, as well as the clear blending powder.

Can't be used on its own, evidently.
