I Want A Unicorn Horn!!
She told her camel, "I love you the way you are.". Her sister had a unicorn birthday party. Maybe all the unicorn gifts or too many cupcakes made her wish this. She tried to use the hat as a horn. To take her mind off of it. They found a roller coaster. She barely got a whee. She put a paper towel roll on her head. They got ice cream cones. She ate the icecream and wore the cone on her head. What is she going to do? She doesn't like seeing her camel friend being sad. This is a colorful fun picture book about friendship. The story is one that will have the little ones coming back again and again. You might even need to make some unicorn horns to wear.

The sweet camel story you didn't know you needed in your life
Unlike most unicorn stories where everyone assumes being a unicorn is the best, this is one camel who is happy as she is. My kids loved this book and the camel's expressions throughout as the little girl tried to understand why her camel wanted to be a unicorn. Very cleverly written with darling illustrations to match, this is a fun book for your bookshelf!

Quirky and fun.
This little book is cute, fun, and filled with quirky illustrations that are very colorful. little camel wasn’t jealous, oh no, it wanted a horn to aid him with his itchy back, just like the unicorn. A book showing how easy it is to misunderstand what ales our little ones sometimes when all they are asking for is for some special attention.

Disappointing
Returning. Not a story about being who you are inside and not conforming, and more about figuring out what could possibly ”be wrong” w the camel... not the positive message I was looking for.Spoiler alert - the camel just wanted to scratch an itch on it’s back not actually be a unicorn...I guess if I wanted me children to think there’s something wrong about wanting to be different instead of sharing their true self this is exactly the book I’d buy.

Fun read for the whole family
A young girl struggles to help her camel feel better when she thinks he is desiring to be something he isn’t (a unicorn). Wonderful story about recognizing and meeting the needs of others around us. Love to share stories like this with my kids where they see themselves reflected in the illustrations.

Cute story about a camel
My 4-yr old daughter loves camels. This was the only book I could find about a camel that looked light-hearted, and cute. That being said, I felt it was overpriced for a paperback edition and there was no hardcover option. I would have preferred a hardcover since this was a birthday gift for my daughter.

Adorable!
This is a fun read for any child. A camel is pretty cool, so it is hard to imagine it wanted to be anything else! The unexpected ending was sweet. Lovely illustrations too.

Such a fun book!
I don't know about your kids, but mine are unicorn mad at the moment! Everything unicorn is adored and so when I downloaded this book, they were very eager to read it when they got in from school. This book didn't disappoint! It's full of fun and silly tales and brought to life with fab illustrations. My Camel Wants to be a Unicorn, follows a child with her pet camel. Since they attended a unicorn-themed party (I think we can all relate to attending one of those!) the camel is acting strangely... he just isn't as happy and keeps trying to make himself a unicorn horn! From the cone of an ice cream to a party hat, this camel is joining us all in the unicorn-crazy-world! But then we find out what the camel is REALLY doing! The book had my 7-year-old laughing and we all loved the ending - we didn't know what would happen! I think this appeals because it's light-hearted, there isn't any big message behind it (except maybe for us parents, rolling our eyes at yet ANOTHER thing wanting to join in with the unicorn craze!) and so when the children got in from a busy day at school, they enjoyed having this light-hearted story read to them. It's the perfect book for little ones to enjoy, light-hearted, fun, fabulous illustrations that compliment the story beautifully and all told in a way which appeals to children. We loved it!
