I bought this replace an ageing MacBook Air. I used the Apple as a dual boot machine so was perfectly comfortable running Windows 10.I'm impressed by the build quality and the packaging. Having the ability to use it as a a tablet is also useful, though I'm still exploring this capability.The screen is very sharp. I'm using this as a business machine but the screen is perfectly usable for watching Netflix etc when on trips away. It runs Word, Excel etc very happily as well as all of my in-house business applications.I think the keyboard is a little rattle-y, but having used it for around 10 days now this doesn't bother me at all and in fact, I may have adjusted my typing style to lessen the sound.If you're looking for a compact, lightweight machine for business I would recommend this notebook.

Overall I love it!Firstly the minor niggles.> The keyboard is just a little bouncy in the middle, I see this as an acceptable compromise given the size of the unit>The power button could be in a less obvious place, too easy to hit and send Windows to sleep by accident though you can switch this off in settings> Speakers are not great, again a compromise due to the size of the unit, but Bluetooth performs seamlessly with my Home TheatreThe positives:> Lovely metal finish> Compact and portable with few compromises> Brilliant touch screen and fold back tablet optionI needed to replace a 2 in 1 Lenovo that failed. I wanted something lightweight that could sit on my lap for extended periods without being too heavy, essentially acting as a tablet with a keyboard. But I also needed USB and printer connectivity and access to some legacy windows software.This does the job beautifully. I don't find touchpads too easy to operate, so being able to scroll down by swiping the screen is a delight. It also has all the connectivity I need. It seems perfectly able to cope with multitask browsing, email and office tasks. Streams Netflix fine. I cant speak for games or higher demand software though.If you are looking for a superpowered PC that has large speakers then this model will not suit you. But if portability and ease of use are essential to you then this is a great option. It would be really easy to take on a flight for example by slipping in the outside pocket of a cabin bag.NB. I had a problem with the first model I received but XIDU Customer Service were extremely prompt and helpful in their responses. Also be aware this is fitted with a US Keyboard, it does come with an optional UK overlay but in practice the only disadvantage for me is the @ sign being in a different place which I don't find to be an issue.It also comes with a screen protector fitted. As with all screen protectors they can develop minor air bubbles so I preferred to peel mine off.

Build quality average. US keyboard. Will not play netflix smoothly...very choppy. Now won't boot into Windows. Sending it back asap. Update 18th Oct....Customer service has been beyond excellent. Have ordered a new machine and will report back, but I do believe I had a faulty one.Update 22 Oct 19 The new machine has died within 24 hrs. Will not charge, and will not power up. There was still 50% battery charge left when it died. AVOID THIS MACHINE AT ALL COSTS. As I am an IT engineer if this had been a fixable issue I would have fixed it. Look elsewhere and spend a bit more. Even if working this machine is not worth anywhere near the asking price. The Asus 11" is only £180 and is a better deal

Loved the sound of this with it's more than decent specs and portability. First of all I'll say that the build quality is quite nice although there's a lot of flex on the keyboard which is probably to be expected. The display itself seems great. But after setting it up today I'll be returning it. Considering it has an SSD and an adequate amount of Memory, everything goes at such a crawl. Not sure if it's just a driver issue or a problem with the item I received or what, but it's painful to use. It also has a US keyboard and not UK. Okay, so people clearly mention this in the review sections, so I can give the latter as pass. But the sluggish performance considering it's spec I can't.

It is a mediocre computer in terms of its speed. I expected it to be a lot faster than this with its RAM size and CPU. Screen takes a long time to reload from idle or rest for some reason. The apps take time to load. But the resolution is good. And it is light and convenient size for travelling.

Fantastic Mini Laptop with all Windows 10 Features and extra crisp screen. Very Fast Internet connection and navigation through the Apps. Bought for my son going to University and he advised me that it is great for watching videos on the train and the Microsoft Office applications are fast.It has as Solid state Drive which means it boots up (powers on in seconds).This is the second purchase from XIDU - I bought the Philipad similar to Surface Pro and have to say extremely impressed with the quality and the customer and after service I have received.I have bought Dell computers for the last 10 years and can honestly say XIDU are on par but at 1/3 of the price. High quality at low price.

I'm very happy with my XIDU PhilBook Pro. I was looking for a slim product that had the touch-screen functionality of a tablet when I needed it and also a keyboard as I write lots of emails during my working day. This little laptop is the perfect combination! It is also light and portable which is important for me since I have to travel abroad every now and then for business and I have to take my laptop. The XIDU Philbook Pro is proving not only practical but an excellent, cost-effective product with high-end features!
