Real Estate Market Analysis: Trends, Methods, and Information Sources, Third Edition

This is a great referrance book. It's full of compact facts to remember. Not sure I'd recomment it as your first real estate book but definely have it on your referrence shelf.

The book does a good job relating the value of the market study to the inputs needed by developers and financial analysts and covers the topic in depth across property types.
