We set sail with Jake and crew. According to Neverland Pirate Code, Jake and crew must race Bucky against Jolly Roger and Captain Hook. If Bucky loses, he belongs to Hook. Hook wins the race, but Jake and crew have a way to rescue Bucky. With Peter Pan's help, the crew go on an adventure that includes getting past a dragon. With your child's help, Jake and crew save Bucky.There are 4 more episodes. Music, action and fun are in this movie and proves that being a hero is from teamwork, determination, and friends. Yep, ever since the debut of the series, my 5-year old can't get enough of Jake. The episodes all feature essentially the same story line. The bumbling Captain Hook is always scheming to steal something that belongs to Jake and his pals, but never succeeds. Throughout their adventures, the kids have to overcome 3-4 problems or challenges, and earn gold doubloons for their efforts. In this episode, Captain Hook tries to hoodwink the kids into losing their ship, Bucky. Each episode is about 12 minutes long, and there are multiple episodes on each disk.

My daughter loves this movie. I bought it for Christmas so she doesn't have the dvd yet but we recorded the last hour of it on Disney and she watches it over and over and over.....I'm sure she will be excited and will watch the dvd repeatedly and the fact that it has all the extra episodes is an added bonus! Great price, great movie!

W have Netflix and was bummed when they cut the show the biginninng of the year. So I bout my 3 year old son "Jake and the Neverland Pirates" as an Easter gift and he absolutely loves it. All is well in his world again!

My kids (3 1/2 year old girl, 2 year old boy) LOVE Jake and the Neverland Pirates. Since they were requesting to watch the one DVD we owned just about ever day, I decided to surprise them and get another DVD when this was on a promotion on Amazon. They quite liked it, but my 3 1/2 year old daughter got very emotional while watching this. The plotline for this movie is that Captain Hook tricks Jake and his friends and as a result takes Bucky, their ship, who is their best friend. Jake and his friends get very upset, and sing a song about losing their best friend - which caused my daughter to burst into tears and get very upset (all 4 times she has watched the movie). I don't think this is necessarily a bad thing - as I sort of enjoy crying at sad movies myself, but just something to be aware of. If you plan to pop this in the DVD player and then run to the other room and make dinner, your kid may burst into tears while you're in the kitchen...

My three-year-old grandson loves watching Jake and the Neverland Pirates at my house but doesn't have satellite television at home, so I was really happy to find this DVD on Amazon. His parents don't have to worry about violence, because the Jake series is geared toward toddlers and preschoolers and is very innocent. It's very sweet with a positive message.

A must for any Jake and the Never Land Pirates fan. My 3 year old and my 5 year old love this movie and sing along with all of the songs. We finally ended up getting it on dvd to give us more room on our dvr! Definitely recommend.

Great dvd as always my daughters love jake so had to get her this to free some of my sky box as full of jake. She can watch it all day if I'd let her. My eldest daughter cried at this one when she was little when captain hook took bucky and she watched it other day and at 4years old still cried. My nearly two years old wasn't botherd

I got this for my son and he instantly loved it, its his favourite programme now and he spends his days yo-hoing and pretending to be jake! its good value for the price, lots of episodes which are a decent length long and it doesnt grate on my nerves like some kids programnes do after a while! A must have for any little one who likes all things pirate.
