FLASHTEK Natural Baseball Bat

I 3 of these for home security. My daughter, grandson, and I live together, and our apartment was broken into before we moved in, so we needed something to protect ourselves just in case. I keep one in my room under the bed, my daughter keeps one in hers under her bed, and the third is in the utility closet downstairs. No need to use them yet, but they are the perfect size for us and easy to swing. It will hurt like hell if hit with it.

I've yet to hit anyone with it yet! Will update later about its durability!

Perfect bat for what I needed! I used it as a prop for a Harley Quinn costume for my child. I think it would make a good prop for an adult as well. I included a picture of the original bat so you could see exactly what you will be getting. There is also a picture with my 7 and 10 yr old’s softball bats, as well as my adult bat, so you could see the size difference. It is a child size bat that seems like it would be good for softer baseballs to get your little one started young. It has a light shiny varnish finish on it that can be easily sanded off if needed. It doesn't come with a logo, just a light varnish that can be sanded off by hand with minimal effort. I loved it for making my Harley Quinn bat.

My sister said she grabs a plunger when she hears a bump in the night. She lives in another city so I sent her this bat to put beside her plunger. She liked the pseudo joke so it was a success!

This is the perfect size for my use. I am using it as a "Stomp-er" for making "Sauerkraut in a Stoneware Crock". I want to thank the review that talked about removing the light varnish using sand paper (Fine 100 to 120 grade) and a little elbow grease. I needed a natural wood bat with no toxins. After sanding the varnish off, wipe off the sawdust, use a paper towel. Use a clean paper towel and apply a small amount of cooking oil. Canola, Olive etc, any food grade oil will work, like breaking in a pizza board. Put a light film of oil and let it set to soak in. This preserves the wood. After use, wash with soap and water, let dry and apply another coat of oil before storage. This light bat smashes the cabbage cuttings, so they can release liquid to ferment properly.

I was pretty impressed by the quality of this bat. I bought it for a toy drive at work. I received it very fast and the bat itself is actually made of real wood. It's sturdy and it's the perfect size for a child. It's not so heavy that it's hard to manage.
