Trident Cyclops Series Case for Samsung Galaxy S4/GT-I9500 - Retail Packaging - Green

The case was thinner than expected for a two piecr case which I liked. The built in screen protector did not work well. Dust and water can get behind it and dirt and dust then gets pressed into the screen protector over time and it always looks dirty. I went ahead and removed the screen protector from the case afree awhile. Touch sensitivity through the screen protector was lessened a little but I was okay with it, it was worst when the screen protector would lift off of the screen on the device making it so part of your tap was pushing the screen protector down before the touch was registered. The snaps that secure the two halves of the case together are along the sides, too far from the port covers. This allowed for the case to separate just enough at the ports that the rubber flaps were too short to snap into place. Good case for a few bucks, I still have it and use it occasionally but if you need heavy duty protection from more than drops such as dust dirt and water this is not gonna do what you need. My favorite case of all time is made my Urban Armor Gear, I would suggest checking that out.

I was really excited about this case because of the built in screen protector. However, the way it lays again my screen makes it look like it has splotches all over it, dust and dirt get in and under the screen protector, and it gets incredibly smudged constantly. I'd say you'd be better off sticking to one of their other cases and just getting a separate screen protector. I swapped by to my old Trident case about a month after I got this one. Ignoring the issues with the screen protector, it is a good case. It certainly can survive a fall. I had that and none of the drawbacks with the old one, though.

This case is PERFECT. I love it! It fits well. The screen cover is integrated which means no "scraping" a sheet on. I love the vibrant color as well. This case has held up very well. I have had a few drops and my phone is still doing great. Lastly, I had another Trident case for my old Samsung S2...this case is much better as it is thinner and doesn't have the "peeling" issue my other case did. Again, great case for the money!

I had the phone in my back pocket and the plastic cracked. I'm not fat, 5'10,180 lbs. But I lean up against a lot of oil at work and have very few other options to put my phone. I expected it to hold up better. Also, the plastic screen protector gets dust and crumbs behind it and also makes it less sensitive, hard to swipe and text accurately on Andriod.

I researched this case, and others for the Galaxy S4. I had been pretty set on the Otterbox Commuter, but, not really liking the colors.. sure, and that is a crappy reason for not getting such a great phone case, but... I did love the color of THIS case, and researched, and decided to take the chance.Am glad I did. The color is brilliant red, so, I like looking at it, it is slim; however, does not really slide easily in and out of pockets, due to the rubbery material. That is, the rubber bumpers on the edges. Which, is FINE, as that rubbery material gives it a nice grip and feel to the hand. It does not slide about on a table, because of 4 tiny rubbery feet on the back. It DOES 'slip' about if you lay it face down, though.Other reviewers had concerns about:1) the buttons being hard to press,2) the headphone jack being hard to get in3) the front coverMy experiences are:1) not hard at all. Certainly a bit harder than the nekkid buttons, but not annoyingly so. I think it is fine, for me.2)absolutely no trouble getting the headphone jack in.3) I stayed with the front screen cover for a while. And realized, that yes, I did not like it. It did not fit tight, dust got under it (in the interest of full disclosure, I DO work in a wood shop!)and it was a tiny bit annoying. However, it did work very well in that it was very responsive to finger pressure, and did not interfere with using the phone at all.But, the dust underneath it bothered me.Sooooo. I bought the ArmorSuit Screen Protector, and then, I performed surgery on the poor little case, with no anesthesia...I took my X-Acto, and cut the clear window plastic off of the bevel of the case.Put the ArmorSuit screen protector on the phone, and reassembled the case. (after letting it dry overnight, as suggested.)And, it is wonderful.I have only had it for a week, so, I can't say for sure I will still love it in a month or two. But, it is, I think, a terrific value for the money spent.Everything fits tight, it is handsome, protective, and easy to hold.maybe the Otterbox is a better box.. but, this was the right purchase for me.

This is a really nice case for the price and the only thing I don't care for is that the cap for the charging port doesn't stay closed because everytime you plug your charger in it pushes the cap backwards and it wants to hold that shape. Other than that little gripe it protects well and doesn't add a lot of bulk.

My husband was very sceptical about this or any case, but is totally thrilled with this one. He thinks he can hear better with it and is happy that it doesn't slide around when he lays it on a slick surface. The case came quickly and in perfect condition.

This case would be perfect if not for the fact that dust gets in through the home button area. The design, construction, and materials are top notch. This sleek case is very different from the original which was very bulky but very durable. I'm sure this case will also last. It just bugs me that the dust gets in.
