This is a very good collection for a beginning pianist to play from

simplified up to the point that the music pieces are not recognizable.

A useful book of pieces for the beginner/improver pianist.

Although many of the pieces were less familiar and very pleasant play, they were very short and mostly much simpler than book 1. I didn't feel that they were helping me progress much. I had thought a second book might have extended my playing a little more.
