Best way to prepare for Cisco exams
I find Wendell Odom's books the absolute best way to prepare for Cisco exams. I've done CCENT and CCNA and used almost exclusively information from the books (only need to do network simulation somewhere else as the included free simulator version is quite limited). The book itself is high quality, with good paper and printing. I appreciate all the additional materials that come with it - practice tests, review materials, etc. Another perk is big discounts for other materials when registering this book to your Ciscopress account after purchase.

Not standard newspaper/book print font size.
Would be nice if the book print was standard. About 80% of standard newspaper print font size. Only 700 pages to go in volume one.

Actually enjoying reading a technical reference!
This book has helped me immensely to prepare for the CCNA 200-301 exam, while additionally presents the material in an enjoyable context. I find myself looking forward to daily study sessions! Each chapter lends to previous or later chapters, but it's very clear which sections to reference for further understanding. I think I most enjoy the study tips to help people either skim or focus sections for which they either understand or need clarity. tl;dr: incredible resource, thorough step by step walkthrough, and enjoyable read (occasional jokes).

More than expected again!
The book looks great but I was also able to access the online voucher online for the practice tests.

Volume 2 is a good read with a significant amount of information. The book has short chapters and many examples but the difficult part is portability. Began reading the paper edition and eventually switched to the ebook while preparing for the certification exam. Some chapters reference other chapters and the links were great to quickly get to the referenced topic.
