Most of the printers, hard drives and devices I have still use USB 3.0 and the MacBook Pro no longer has a card reader. Overall, it's a great all-in-one product for the price. Pros: • Has: USB 3.0 (3 ports), USB 2.0, SD and Micro SD slots, HD4k, Audio, VGA, LAN, and an extra USB C slot • All ports worked • Nice finish, matches my space grey MacBook Pro. • It’s sturdy and feels well made. Cons: • I mostly use my laptop docked on the Rain Design stand and the cord on this product is a bit short, so it awkwardly hangs down. I wish it was about 2 inches longer but, this is specific to my set up. • I don’t like how large the logo is on the product — makes it look cheaper. Review: Excellent price, very versatile. Good buy. - Highlights: Works out of the box. Fully compatible with Windows 10. Fully compatible with Apple computers.* Compatible with Samsung Note 10 and DeX works right out of the box! Connect it via an HDMI cable to your TV. Add wireless keyboard and mouse via the USB 2.0 or 3.0 ports. Pros: Plug and play. No need install any drivers or additional software. Good built quality. Made of aluminum, matches well with your Apple computer. The SD card reader slot is perfect, no longer do you need to dig behind your iMac. It has the perfect amount of 3.0 USB ports. VGA port out in case you need that in the office. Cons: *Wacom display would not work using the Type-C port. I connected the Wacom to the back of the iMac and then I got the display to work again. Not all ports are behind. I would prefer all ports on the back. Susgested updates: 90° angle USB wire. All ports behind.

Works OK, but I still have to make multiple connections
This unit seems to be fairly well built but I still have some issues with it; when I had my MacBook power cord running through it my Mac would routinely try to start up (after being put in "sleep" mode), with the accompanying "ding" that the Mac makes...and then it would shut down again...and then repeat. Also, the LAN cable would light up but never make a connection and my external hard drive (connected via a USB-C cable) would not show up on the desktop. Now, with the power cord and external hard drive going directly to the Mac as before I no longer have any of these issues but this also somewhat defeats the purpose for buying this thing, does it not? I wanted the simplicity of a SINGLE connection to my Mac but still must make at least 3 every time I'm at my desk...frustrating.

This thing came and seemed pretty promising. But when I tried to use it both the HDMI and audio ports were jacked. A total waste of money. Would not recommend to my worst enemy.

Lots of functions but too big.
This is a specific item for specific need, if you only work at a specific location then you'd love it, other wise you'd regret every dollar you pays. Let me explain. Firstly let's talk about the size. It is huge, the largest usb hub I ever owned or saw. Just by the name "USB-C Laptop Docking Station" you would get the hint that this is for stationary use, it is longer than your shorter edgy of the laptop. If you are thinking bring it with you to a coffee shop or travel with it, you probably would want pick a smaller one. Secondly, functions. sacrificing the size it comes with versatility, it absolutely covers all the usage I would need for everyday photography production. The aux does work weirdly though, it somehow detect a screen when I have aux plugged in, and the fact i cant use both aux from my MAC and this hub to share ear bud with my girl is making this extra port useless and redundant. Thirdly, quality. I think mine is fine and functional but it does has a cheap feel. The usb-c line is making robber noise, and the port is somehow harder to plug in than all my other cords. The chip inside electronic ports is slightly misaligned with the outer case, making plug in and out little bit tricky. I might just got a bad one, but it's working I guess. For a hub i don't really have much expectation. Overall 3.5. I still use my older smaller one if work out side home, this one is sticked right on my desk for home use.

Quality multipurpose hub to connect to your laptop!
Being a commercial photographer, my usb ports are always full and this hub works great to give me a few more spots to connect more devices to my laptop! The metal construction is nice so i can throw this in my camera bag and not have any worries about it breaking. It has a micro sd and SD card reader built in, which makes things convenient for dumping drone footage on location. It would be awesome if they built in a cf and cfast reader in a future model as my bigger cameras use those cards and that would allow me to ditch my other card reader. It would also be nice if they spaced out the USB ports a bit more, as they are really close so any thicker USB cables, card readers, or USB drives won't fit next to each other. If you're using standard USB cables it's not an issue. Not sure why there is a LAN port as most laptops have one built in and Wi-Fi is everywhere these days, but i suppose it's nice to have for the rare occasion you would need to use it. I also have no use for a VGA connection as most monitors are using hdmi or dvi connections now but again, i can see it being useful for those rare occasions you need to connect to an older projector. Would also be cool if they included an ac power cable to boost the power capacity as I'm not sure if it's capable of powering all devices with all the ports in use from the single USB-C connection that it runs on. I didn't test it maxed out but I've had issues with other hubs in the past dropping power to random ports when you max them out with phones, hard drives and other power hungry devices. Definitely something to think about for future models! Overall it's a solid product and I'm happy with the purchase.

This was supposed to replace an EKSA usb-c hub that died from one hour to the next pretty much a year after purchase - and the iBesi is worse in every aspect but the cable length between the hub and the target device. The iBesi introduces an up to frighteningly loud sound through the jack plug when you start the target device while both are plugged together, but that's by far not the worst aspect of it: If you dare to unplug the laptop it is plugged to without powering it down, like when you move from your desk to the couch, the sudden loss of connection basically makes the iBesi send out a signal over LAN that stuns the LAN switch that is connected to the iBesi, and makes every other device that is connected to said LAN switch lose LAN connection. This happens at around 10% of the times you hot-unplug the notebook from the iBesi, and what is the funniest bit is that as soon as you plug the notebook back into the iBesi, every device connected to the switch BEHIND the iBesi regains LAN connection again. This has nothing to do with any issue with the switch, which is a tried and true brand product switch that served me exceptionally well for years now, and still does as I write this, as long as I don't give the iBesi a LAN connection. - in conclusion: If the EKSA usb-c hub would still exist on here, I would have been better of just re-buying that one every time it breaks. This iBesi one here tho, this is not a hub you can rely on, unless you only use a very limited subset of what it offers, and then why buy it at all. Just choke up the 100 bucks for an actually good usb-c hub from an actual company, not these ever changing Chinese e-waste peddlers. All these cheaper options here on amazon are basically more or less garbage. It's not worth the hassle. - addition: Up to today, 6 weeks after the order AND delivery of said garbage product, Amazon still claims the package is still in transit - how convenient for them, to not have to offer me a refund option on it, as if they knew it is indeed garbage. Go figure.

Bin zufrieden, macht was es soll.
