I am disappointed that the straps use plastic adjusters. Plastic rarely lasts long. I would have readily paid more for the table harness if it had adjusters not made of plastic.

Works perfectly and the cost is excellent. The nylon is nice and thick, good stitching, very quality product. Its completely adjustable except for the height, so make sure your table has an adjustable arm height. We use it for our 17-pound miniature poodle, and our 9-pound miniature poodle/terrier mix, and it works perfectly. The PVC tubing that adjusts the size works well, and since there aren't instructions what we do is put the shorter leash around the neck (noose), and the longer one around the rear hips (haunch), then we scoot the PVC tubing down to make a good fit. It might not work for *every* dog out there, but seeing as to how there are many of us with small breeds that got it to work just fine, I have to question what some of the others are doing with theirs to have it not work.

This harness works very well for my 5-6 pound maltipoo, it really does prevent her from sitting when I'm grooming her. I only gave it 4 stars because of the plastic adjusters. They will probably last for me because my dog is delicate, but for a stronger dog, I don't know if they might break? That might be unfair of me though, as it is just speculation. I really like the fact that this one is made of fabric and not rubber like a competitor's harness. I think a rubber one would get her long hair matted.

I so wish it would have worked for all my dogs, but it didn't. I have 4 shelties and 2 Poms and not sure why, but it won't work for some of them. The body part is either not long enough or the neck part is way too long. I will change it to my needs and hope it will work then for all of my dogs.Shipping and delivery was quick!

I have not used the product yet but it is really nice and the price point is great. I did put it on my dog to see how it looked and if it was comfortable for my dog. It will work on all my dogs from my 40lb. to my 78lb with no problem. I'm really happy I found this product. With grooming being so expensive we are now doing it ourselves. So it's nice to find quality like this at a great price. I truly feel this will make the grooming process safer as it holds the dog at two points and keeps them standing comfortably.

After being charged $100 for grooming my Portuguese Water Dog, I decided to give a try at grooming. After doing a lot of research I purchased the necessary electric razor and blades and combs and other stuff but I didn't have a grooming table. My first foray went Great except that Travis kept escaping and three hours later there was fur everywhere - pounds of fur everywhere. Finally I found the solution to holding the dog still. This product goes gently around the neck and waist. It is just enough with light tension to keep him in place and not sitting. Fur stayed on the table and we were done in 30 minutes. We are all happy.

My dog is a 9-lb. Shichon (Shih Tzu/Bichon mix). This harness does not work for her. The noose strap on this item is TOO short (to work with the strap for the hindquarters) and NOT adjustable at all. The strap for the hindquarters is way too long and can only be adjusted about 4 inches. I've adjusted the grooming arm several times but there is no way to get both straps to fit at same time. My grooming arm is 36" high and fully adjustable. No matter how I adjust the arm, I can't get both straps to work at same time. If the arm is high enough for the hindquarters strap to keep my dog from sitting, the neck noose is so high that her front feet are off the table and she's being choked. I tried knotting the hind strap but then the neck noose was too long. My dog measures 9 inches tall from top of table to top of her back at her shoulders. BOTH STRAPS NEED TO BE ADJUSTABLE BY 8 INCHES in order for this towork. I wish I had returned it because it's a waste of money. I was very busy and forgot to return it.

The product looks as advertised, but when i tried to use it with my dog it did not stop him from sitting down.I shortened the hind restraint as much as it would allow, and raised the bar on my grooming table as tall as I could without choking him of course.Unfortunately, when the item was extended as high as it could be for his head, the hind restraint was still slack enough that he could still sit down and wiggle quite a bit of he had wanted.I ended up removing the back line (as it was only getting in the way, and just using the head restaint to help keep him still.One would be better off buying 2 separate restaint lines with more versatility in the size and length adjustment than the triangular shape of this restraint allows.

It has always eluded me, how dog groomers manage to secure the dogs. I tried this harness, with the hope that it would hold my dog in place while I cut her fur. It did somewhat prove handy in holding my dog still, however, I don't think it is that useful of a device. I also don't think the design is particularly comfortable for a dog.

Harness seems ok but comes without instructions. Didn't realise it was being sent from the USA which took 10 days.

The item was as described and arrived within the time but unfortunately far too large for my needs
