EK Success Tools Punch, Layering, Scallop Circle, Old Package

Con: This punch is supposed to punch up to a 2 1/2 inch scallop, but the size actually measures just short of 1 1/2 inches for the largest scallop. Of the variable scallops available, when trying to use only the largest punch size, it will not cut through any type of paper or cardstock. The paper hangs up & is hard to remove from the punch without tearing and then the scalloped design has to be finished with scissors!Pro: It punches fairly nicely when using all three cutting blades, which is the only reason I'm giving it 2 stars instead of zero or one.Since I wanted the punch primarily for the largest scallop size, I feel my money was wasted. Needless to say, I'm very disappointed in this purchase. I won't be buying another punch of this type.

The description says 2-1/2 in circle and its only 1-1/2 in. There is no way to get a solid circle of the maximum diameter either... you can punch the smallest size, the smallest size and a ring a little larger, and the smallest size and two increasingly larger rings.

I was very excited to get this punch in the mail and use it to punch scalloped circles for paper garland only to be super disappointed with the way it punches. 95% of the time I try to make a punch it DOES NOT cut through normal scrapbook paper...much less card stock. The other 5% of the time I have to pound the punch so hard that my hard hurts. I would definitely NOT recommend this product.

The thruth the product I was asked this is the old and the price is more than I received it new.

A little disappointed that does not cut when used on "second phase". One and three cut all the way thought nicely

I ordered a number of punches recently through Amazon. They all looked fine, I opened them all and put them away for a little while till I was ready to start on one of the projects for my daughter's wedding. Well, this particular punch looks like the right one, but, the maximum size circle it punches is about 1 1/2 inch not 2 1/2 inches as described. Big difference. I have no use for it now...

For the most part it would cut through most craft paper without complications, but I find with card stock it is not as clean cut. I received as advertise with no surprises. No problems with delivery. Will order from them again!

I love this product as it is easy to use. The three selections give you a variety of options and helps you to be more creative with your cards. I would say that this is good value for money.
