The 88 Kindle Edition

Stumbled upon this book by coincidence, and I bought it because I thought the cover was interesting. I really enjoyed every single short story in this book (88 in total, I guess that’s why the name of the book). Some stories are a little darker, some even mystical. Others are just mind blowing or funny. It was this flexibility of the writer that made the book so interesting to read – I always wanted to know on what trip the author is taking me next. So, overall a very entertaining and inspiring piece of modern poetry/literature!

"The 88" is a great example of Modern Gothic. Great flash fiction, macabre at times, very-Poe like, and excellent reading! Very well developed characters for flash fiction and some very thrilling twists and surprises.

The 88 stories are very easy to read yet have a lot of content. Some were very dark, some about tennis, others just very random. It really captured my attention and interest. I'd highly recommend it!
