The Litake night light is a perfect mix of whimsical fun and practical use. It has 7 different color settings as well as the regular warm white light. Just gently tap the soft silicone surface to change the modes. The night light cover is made by BPA-free washable and silicone, innocuous, soft and harmless, which is safe for everyone including babies. The cover feels like, ahem, silicon breast implants. Not the hard ones. The soft ones that bounce backs after you touch them. The best part is it's rechargeable. You charge it by inserting the supplied USB plug into your computer, power, bank or smart-phone brick. It has about 15 hours in normal white light mode and 12 hours in colorful breathing mode. We didn't have the light on all the time and only when we needed it. So, we only charged it once for the 1 week of use. We chose the celebrity cat style as the other two were too "kiddy" for our taste, but they would make a great gift for any kid. We were quite surprised at how large the night light was. I'm writing this review like 2 or 3 years later and it still works with batteries so it's good

This little cat light is adorable. I had one in my room, but my nephew "borrowed" it, and I knew I was never getting it back, so I ordered this one. To be honest, I'm kind of glad my nephew took my old one, because I LOVE this one. The remote was a surprising addition, and it is the best! Now, I can put my light on my armoire, and turn it on to use as a nightlight when I need it in the middle of the night! I love that you can select a specific color or choose one of the options: Flash, Strobe, Fade or Smooth. You can also brighten or dim the light from the remote. The price is also great! My nephew now wants THIS cat light, and he's not getting mine! I will just get him one for his birthday.

I bought this about 3 months ago, and I think it has been one of my best purchases. I dont really find myself using the color change feature much, but when I do it works great. The light is really sensitive though, so everytime I pick it up I have to put it gently down or else it changes from the regular light mode to color change. Also another thing to note is that if you have weak batteries, the light will not shine as bright. I ran into this problem when I had purchased cheap batteries, so I got some more expensive ones and when I tried them, the light was working much better than before. Its actually really convenient, having high mobility, and it also shines enough light to where its not too bright, but not so dark that it doesnt make a difference in the dark. I think this is a cute, cheap purchase that could do well as a gift for anyone, but more specifically someone who is seeking out a convenient night light that is reliable.

This works great for me. I was careful when I charged it but no problems. I use it as a dim (red) light at night to see where stuff is but not wake my husband up with a bright light. The battery lasts forever for me as I am just using it occasionally for an hour or so at a time at dimmest setting. Remote works fine too although it did need a new battery after a few months. Plus it is very cute.

I like this little lamp. It’s adorable and functional. I like that it has a remote. I use it at night when I’m feeding my baby so that I don’t have to turn on the big light and cause her to wake up fully. This provides a dim light to keep her drowsy so she will go back to sleep more easily after eating and having her diaper changed. It serves its purpose. The only thing that bothers me about this light is that if I have it on and set to a specific color, such as white, if I even MOVE, the lamp suddenly starts switching between all the colors and doesn’t stop until I tap it back to white. It’s really annoying sometimes because it distracts the baby. I just want it to stay on the color I choose, but it never does. I literally don’t even have to touch it or bump it for this to happen. All I do is move or open the door on the other side of the room and the thing starts switching through all the colors on repeat. In other words, the tiniest tiniest disturbance causes it to malfunction. But, like I said, it serves its purpose. I hope it lasts long enough for her to enjoy it when she gets older because it really is cute and the colors are very pretty.

This little thing was so cute. It has a nice brightness. Not too bright. Easy on and off. And is pretty durable. It has lasted so far from drops, falls, my child hitting it to change the color, and being thrown. Good product. Plus it’s fun!
