Along with proper temperature, time in the oven is absolutely necessary to track. This digital timer is very easy to set up and use. The alert tone when the set time is reached is loud enough to hear if a person is anywhere near where it is being used. It has dual timing functions and also functions as a digital clock and calendar when not in the timer mode. The display is large enough to be seen across a normal size room. This device is so useful that I have two of them. The timer runs on two AAA batteries which are supplied with the timer. I would not cook or bake without this timer.

I have needed a stand alone timer for a long time but it is just one of those things you don't make a priority. I have a timer on my microwave and stove, but I am always messing it up. When I use either timer, I usually end up using the microwave or the oven and set it differently and disable the timer I was using, and in place, I would use the timer for what I was cooking at that time. I have done that more times than I'd like to admit, then I would not know how much time I actually had left for what I was cooking or baking in the first place. It was clear that I needed a timer that had the ability to set two different times on it, and I don't know why I kept putting that off. I was searching Amazon and I found this little beauty, which has the ability to be set for two different times, separate from the oven or microwave timer. So far it has been lifesaver and I have already saved myself a couple of potential situations that could have turned into timer fiascos, where it would have ended up wiping out the timer that I had set for a roast and for something I was baking. I never knew how much I needed this until I got it. It is easy to set, has a nice, big screen so you can easily see how much time is left, and it is magnetic, so I have it attached to the side of my fridge. It is tough and very well made and the magnets attach securely to the fridge. The ring in the timer could be a bit louder, so knowing that, you just need to make sure you don't wander too far away from it when you have something in the oven, or something you are timing, or make sure to carry the timer with you so that when it does go off you will be sure to hear it. Aside from that, it is very nice and well-made and durable and works very very well. I used it over the recent holidays, and a lot of times I had the need to have two timers going at the same time, and this dual timer served the purpose so well. I no longer have to guess how many minutes something might have left to cook. I am very pleased with it, I have no more timer fiascos and this is obviously something I should've purchased a long time ago.

I almost didn't purchase this timer based on some others' reviews about: (1) the timer alarm being too loud / heart attack loud / similar to a smoke alarm, and (2) the timer couldn't count up without first counting down for a minute and then reversing (which would be a tolerable work-around but would be annoying). I did order and receive the timer and after testing it both of those concerns (apparently with prior models) are not an issue at all with the current timer model I received. (1) Re: volume, it defaults to the last volume setting used. There are 4 settings that toggle as you press: silent, low, medium and high. The volume applies to the whole device / both timers if you have them both going. As you press the volume button each time, it gives a beep of increasing volume so you can hear how loud the alarm will be at that level and the LCD screen changes each time so you can tell if the alarm is silent or at low, medium, or high volume. When the timer goes off, the display flashes. The alarm goes off for 1 minute then stops. I beeps every 1 second on/off (half a second on, half a second off). This is consistent with another timer / alarm that I have. As soon as the timer hits zero and the alarm goes off, the timer clock begins a reverse count and flashes. After the 1 minute of alarm is done and goes silent, the timer portion continues to flash as it continues counting up to let you know how many minutes and seconds have gone by since the alarm first went off. I tested this Term Pro timer alarm in my basement where it is quieter than the rest of my house. None of the volume settings were "smoke alarm" loud or anywhere near that category. The low volume setting is good to use if you know you are going to be in the same room when it goes off. It gets your attention but would not be easily audible past 20 - 25 feet in my opinion, especially if there is any other background noise. The medium volume setting is audible / noticeable in my basement in another room over (20-25 feel away) around the corner with the room door open. The high volume setting is even more noticeable in the next room over (even with the door closed) but is not loud enough to hear on the first floor / another floor up or down from where you would be at. (2) The current model of this timer DOES count up if you do not enter any hours or minutes of time and just press the start / stop button. There is no issue with this function. Overall this seems to be a good double-timer. I look forward to using this timer outside with my gas grill when it is grilling season so I can better track the amount of time I am cooking different items on the grill.

This is a great product, and I like that there are two timers on the device. I wish there was an easier way to change from clock to timer. I do not like to go to the back of the clock to move a small switch to use the time, and then move that small switch back again to use the clock. If it had a button on the front, that would be more user friendly. But, it works as stated and volume can be adjusted.

We found that the ThermoPro TM02 24 Hours Digital Timer, with Dual Kitchen Timers, was exactly as described and has functioned flawlessly every day. We use the clock and the dual timers simultaneously by switching between them. This unit checks all the boxes for us because it is easy to use, seems rugged and you have no problem seeing the large characters, even from a distance.

Is an adequate kitchen timer, but two issues that I have with it. First, the alarm is not really loud enough. If I have the TV or music on it's hard to hear it. The biggest issue I have is with where the buttons are. They are in the edge of a lens-shaped body, and if you push them just a little too hard (which isn't very hard) the timer comes off the fridge. Could have a better design. Other than that it works ok.

Well constructed but it is inconvenient to switch between timer and clock as you have to use a switch on the back. Also you are not able to have a timer on screen and the clock at the same time. A button on the front to switch between timer and clock would improve the design considerably. Too loud even on the lowest setting.

Dual timer, very useful for my kitchen. Looks beautiful.

This product is well designed and well made, sturdy and functional. I have owned multiple K-timers over 40 years for various use and this one stands out in "Best Of" category. The display is large and clear, it has 2 timers, a 12-24 hr clock w min-sec and date-year, the alarm ring adjustable, and the unit can be mounted in various ways. Perfect for a busy cook and homeowner! My only criticism (preference) would be to move the unit Timer and Clock switch on the back of the unit to the front, thereby being readily accessible. Great product, functional with clock, dates, and able to set two baking time on one device. Recommended product.
