Quality silicone tape. Basil cell surgery resulted in a 1 1/2 length facial incision. Three weeks after surgery I began daily application of the silicone tape in addition to daily massages of the scar. I am three months after the surgery. My scar is approaching invisible.The tape has good thickness but is easy to work with. The tape color matches my skin tone making it unnoticeable. The tape stays in place and is comfortable. I attribute my better than expected scar result to the quality of the silicone tape.

I've been using the tape for the past 3 months on a 4 inch surgical cut, 13 stitches. I cried when I saw what they did to me. My first thought the dermatologist butchered my shoulder. It looked horrible! When I showed people after they were shocked. Fast forward, I have been using this and the results have been amazing! My friends are like we can hardly see the scar. Basically it's just a thin line!!

The Mepitac soft silicone tape is really good. I was able to get at least a couple applications out of one roll. It is self adhesive. Not sticky but sticky enough. Does not tug at wound when removing. Just use a little care. It is comfortable against the skin. It was delivered very quickly . I recommend and would order again.

Received within 3 days and I am very pleased with the product. I can cut it to the length needed, easy to separate from the paper backing and it doesn't pull my skin off when it's removed!!! Just wish I had known about it sooner!! I'm happy with it!

I am surprised by the low ratings people gave this tape, but not shocked at their comments. People you will not see the results you think you will in 2-4 wks! scar pads take longer then that on new scars and twice as long on old ones but this tape does work. I gave it a 4* because it is way better than the Scar-Away type pads Now those pads are thicker and have a nice clothlike backing but this tape...well, I have a scar that goes across my chest from the farthest part of my armpit across to the other. over 2ft long. I was using an entire pack of Scar-away pads and they were bunching and falling off. Don't get me started on them not sticking because of a single drop of sweat or oil on my skin.This tape is way better to apply to a long scar and it sticks better. I have kept it on and showered!!! Not possible with the other ones. I will say getting it wet wasn't the best Idea. The next time I took it off a little bit of skin came from a spot I believe a drop of water got under. I now make sure it is 100% dry at all times. washing the tape and hanging it to dry is easier than individual pads as well. My doctor saw me for a 2 month checkup and was shocked. Like the other Black person mentioned, yes there is a little bit of darkening along the edges of the scar (which is still reddish pink for me). I am medium toned and barely noticed it until her comment made me pay attention. Even with the darkening, my doctor says the scar looks lie it's 2 years old not two months. I have been sleeping in these things and wearing them all day. So the proof is in the Doctor's words. I took one star away because they are very thin and if they fold over it's difficult to get them flat again.

This tape is great for keeping medical equipment attached to my son. We use it specifically for nasal cannulas and gtube gauzes to be taped to his skin and it’s the only tape that doesn’t severely make his skin react when peeled off. It can be peeled off and used again multiple times before it’s not longer sticky. It typically lasts us about a month per roll depending. Definitely recommend to anyone with sensitive skin.

Recommended by my doctor and it is easy to apply, lasts and is comfortable, stays in place, and provides great results. My scars have healed beautifully and will be barely visible. Great value for the money.

For bell's palsy, they recommend taping your non-closing eye closed at night in order to prevent damage to your eye. This tape was a game changer. All other tapes felt like they were going to remove skin. I hope to never experience bells palsy again, but if I do, or if I encounter others who do, this is the tape I'll recommend.
