Q: It seems like the bad reviews are about size and come from march of 2020. Did you switch manufacturing or something? If so had it been resolved yet?

The problem was, it just said it was 4" in diameter, but did not point out that the 4" were outside diameter. The product itself is probably good. I needed an air vent hose with 4" inside diameter, so it can go over a pipe with 4". I wonder why somebody would be interested in the outside diameter for these hoses anyway. I ended up buying a non insulated hose at Home Depot, where I could take my own tape measure to see with my own eyes what I am buying.

Q: Has anyone else noticed that none of these are actually 25ft in length?

I had to send mine back, because of the diameter was not what I needed. There was some confusion, I had thought it would fit on a 4" connection, but it did not. So, I bought something else at a local store, where I could physically measure the ID.

Q: Can this be used as an hvac supply duct? (heating and ac)

If it can be used for a dryer vent, it CAN be used for HVAC , the dryer produces more heat that a home furnace.
