Easy to use and recommend
Great thermometer to monitor meat while in the oven. The dual probes allow you to monitor different cuts in the oven or multiple sections of a single cut. Especially useful with turkey, able to measure the temp of breast meat and wings to ensure doneness without overcooking. The probes and body come in a nice box to use as storage ,keeping the unit organized and protected

Works great for my solar water heater, 1 yr and still going!
I purchased this in December of 2024 and installed it right away on the supply and return lines of my closed loop water heater solar collector (uses antifreeze solution with heat exchanger) to monitor the temperatures. Probes are inside the pipe insulation. Not exactly what it was designed for but was a much less costly alternative compared to dedicated instruments. It has been on continuously since installation and is still on the first set of batteries (just over a year now), I rarely use the light though. The display has good contrast with color and easy to read in low light. The alarm works well and I can hear it even with my bad hearing. I am still trying to find the best high temp alarm setting so I don't have false alarms. This was a good purchase. I am happy with it and hope it keeps working for a long time.

Easy to use. Accurate.
Bought this for my Thanksgiving turkey. It works just as expected. The only downside is that when you set a temperature goal so it will alert you when it is done, sometimes the temp will bounce up and down a degree before it settles on that goal temp, so the alarm will turn on and then off and then on and then off for sometimes up to 5-6 minutes before it fully settles on that temp. It can be a bit annoying. For smaller cuts of meat, I would just take it out as soon as it hit, but with the turkey, I really wanted to make sure it hit the goal temp at the deepest parts so I waited out the finicky alarm. The wires are small enough that the oven door still creates a good seal. Wireless would be way easier and less hassle, but for as infrequently that I need to take this type of temp, I didn’t want to shell out the big bucks. This was a good compromise and fits what I needed.

Great thermometer
This is so easy to use and so accurate. The 2 probes are so useful, especially when used on the grill. My husband loves this thermometer.

I am so glad I got this especially with two prongs ! NO MORE GUESSING !
The reason I got this is because I bought a huge smoker box with all the bells and whistles and it was awful ! It took forever and then the food was still uncooked and very little smoke. So I returned that $200 plus item and bought a smoker box for my grill on amazon (which works great and a million times better than my giant smoker thing). I also bought this to know when my meat was REALLY done ! So to test it out on the grill we have 2 1/2 pound burgers ! I asked my son who was 10 years old to put together the digital thermometer and explain to me how it works. ( as we were cooking he mentioned this is like Star Treck with probe 1 and probe 2-lol) What was amazing to me is both of our burgers were off the flame but see in the picture how the temp was so different ! I was able to move and get the high temp one elsewhere and try to get the low temp one up ! The result was AWESOME. We NAILED IT ! We both like our meat not raw but -just that right amount its cooked and still not overcooked. I guess I call that minimum Rare ! Best hamburger ever ! And I didn't even get this for burgers ( although I will use now for them ) ! I am so excited to see Chicken and Turkey with two sides inserted. You can see how you could say lets move this or flip sides etc ! Just awesome and I think a very good price too ! Very easy to read and my cords were inside the grill. I hope you may have this helpful ! ray333ray2001 @yahoo.com

Temps off?
Not ver acurate temperature reading. Use the probes in this year's turkey. Pull turkey out a temp, and then measured with a regular meat thermometer. This one was measuring about 30° less. Turkey was dry this year. Makes for a good timer. The dual input is super helpful as well. Will be pulling 30° sooner from now on.

Good value, accurate, easy-to-read, duo probe temperature monitor
This monitor has two plug in probes with two separate displays and settings easily visible at a glance. We purchased it to monitor the cooking progress of our Thanksgiving turkey in the electric roaster. It was inexpensive and delivered next day. With two probes you can check the turkey breast and a leg, or potentially two different items in the oven or on the grill. I've used it once. It worked fine. For what I paid for it, all future use is a bonus!

Cheaply made, barely lasted 3 months, technically still works I guess
This was delivered 72 days ago, and I've used it maybe 10 times. I pulled it out to use it tonight and Probe 2 won't give me a temperature reading at all. Swapped where the probes were plugged in and still no reading off the second probe port. Looking closer, the port is very loose, likely a poor connection. This would explain why the previous use indicated probe 2 was 30 degrees hotter than probe 1 while both probes were in the same chicken. Up until these last two uses, this has performed fine and had a good value, I'd even have said it was 5 stars accurate until that 30 degree difference. If the prospect of a meat thermometer that dies 42 days after the return window closes hasn't already turned you off, know that I'm fairly confident this device shipped with a default "chicken" indicator of 165, but we somehow changed that to be 180 and can't figure out how we did it or how to reset the default. This of course has no impact on the accuracy of the temperature, which we compared a few times to another instant-read, and found it was accurate. It does however, render the Chicken pre-set temperature setting entirely useless. That sounds bad, but it leads me to another complaint, unless you're cooking the meat EXACTLY to the predefined (and apparently somehow alterable) temperatures, you'll likely never use that setting. Reverse-searing a steak? If you use the pre-set RARE the alarm is useless, as you'd have to still watch the screen to know when it's ready for searing. The same is true for roasting a chicken that you want to broil to the end. At least it has a customer temperature option. However, that's also not the end of it, because to use the custom temperature option you're subjected to a loud beep that is the same volume as the "temperature's done!" alarm every time you press any button. Even a single instance of picking the right mode and going from 165 to 150 is enough beeps to teach a parrot how to beep. DO NOT BUY THIS IF YOU HAVE A PARROT. I have no idea if a parrot should be cooked at 165 or 180, but I do know that both of probes are of a great size that works whether you're cooking a steak or any size of foul, and while I'm disappointed and do not recommend this product, I have to admit that with the loud sound and even just the singular probe, I'll still confident she'll come out well done, only because this succeeded in telling me that will be.
