I use these in my bedside table lamps, they do cut down on the eye strain, it takes a bit of getting used to because they cause a big color shift. I didn't notice any flikckering or noise, they are a lot dimmer than a regular bulb which is nice in a bedroom. I didn't check for heat radiation, I doubt they would have any more heat to them than a normal white LED. I haven't had them long enough to determine bulb life, I only have them on about 15 minutes at bed time.If you need some red lights, these will work.

bright, strong color, I got to use as a warm tone late night early morning light source, definitely too bright if you're just getting up or going to bed and your eyes arent adjusted, but for aesthetics or vibes it's a very strong red option, if like me you want it toned down I ended up putting an old pillow case around the lamp its in to make it more suitable for low light scenarios

This is a white LED that is covered with a red shader. I purchased mine may 19, 2022 and it is dec 4, 2023 and its now dead. My bulb lasted 560 days or so of use, and I used it a lot more than 3 hours a day. I would say that it is pretty much right at its advertised use amount of 10k hours. So thats a solid benefit.That being said, its a pretty ugly red that definitely stands out too much. Its not very subdued (it certainly is compared to a regular white light, however)I would say its a 100% improvement over a regular white light for sure, although in the field of subdued red lights, there are better options- that probably cost more.I'm going to rate this bulb 4 stars because it lasted nearly exactly as long as advertised (all you can ask for) and it was not too expensive at $5:bulb.You can definitely find better red LEDs out there ( i own some myself) but those bulbs also cost more and require remotes etc etc. This is an easy 4 star rate for simplicity and delivering on hours promised.

Low light

Using these for "calming light" when breast feeding at night. They work well in our lamp.

Not really the shade of red that I was going for. More of a rosy orange color. Cheesy plastic construction. Like I hope they don’t melt. No weight to them like a traditional LED bulb. Not the red filter that I wanted to use to get around my house at night without using a white light source. And still keep my eyes adjusted for nighttime awareness.
