Worked for bathroom faucet disassembly
I have a Moen bathroom faucet round cone shaped handle that was difficult to remove by hand twist or use of a common pipe wrench. This wrench worked perfectly with the twisting off disassembly of the faucet handle. With help of a specific YouTube video DIY on my Moen faucet and use of this wrench, I was able to remove it easily as well as twist it back to place after repair.I decided on the craftsman with the more expensive price which other generic companies, since it had good reviews and was an established tool company. I am glad i did since it is a quality, strong solid product. Other reviews with the generic tool companies, stated poorly crafted wrenches that broke easily or did not have the proper grip strength.

very helpful tool
I purchased this set to take apart a kitchen faucet. The combination of bad angles, hard water buildup, and not wanting to leave marks on the faucet meant not using normal wrenches. The strap wrenches gave me the leverage I needed without causing any damage. I've used them a few times since then and have been very happy with them.

Works great, but poorly assembled
The first thing you need to do is tighten all the screws. They will fall off and get lost. I've bought several sets for my mechanics over the years. The last 2 sets, none of the screws were tightened, a couple had fallen off Otherwise, these are the best strap wrenches. Nothing else works as well as these

Did the job!
You can go a long time without needing a strap wrench, but when you need one it can be a real lifesaver. In my case it was the stuck glass cover for the oven light bulb. That sucker would just not move. Very slippery and even when I got a grip on it you hate to force something glass while holding it in your hand, you know? Got the strap wrench, put it on, was able to get it unscrewed with a nice even force. Nothing broke and my wife can make Christmas cookies and peek in on them without opening the door. One use like that and it's paid for itself ten times over versus calling somebody in... who would probably have the same wrench and take the same minute I took once I had the right tool.I've used these before, they're useful for lots of tasks, basically any time you have something round without a good way to get purchase on it this will really help, and unlike something metal there's no real risk of scuffing up the surface.

Must have around the house.
I purchased these for a stuck oil filter on my car... Nothing was working to get them off, I ran a screw driver through it, bought a filter wrench... nothing worked.I bought these due to the flexible diameter to get into a tight space. It worked very well. The durability is apparent in the construction. The handles are nice and seem very sturdy, as well as the black strap. Thick plastic that gripped well.I dropped the smaller one into my kitchen for stuck jars and my girlfriend has used it quite a bit. Overall, you can't go wrong... in the garage or in the house, very good to have on hand.Wish I'd have purchased these earlier and saved some money.

Doesn't grip well
Purchased these well over 1.5 years ago. These strap wrenchs work on most things but I purposely purchased these for opening up the tubes of the membrane holders on Reverse Osmosis systems. The durometer of the straps is high enough such that they are durable, however they cannot grip onto something smooth and slippery like PVC or plastic pipes. I'd rather have my tools actually get the job done and break after a while rather than being useless at their only job, and so for that these strap wrenchs get 3/5 stars.

Seems to be good quality. Time will tell.

Saved me big bucks
I did not use on an oil filter. I was changing the media on a RainSoft EC5 water system and the top would not budge (this is not a little case filter). Not wanting to destroy a very expensive unit with a rubber mallet, I needed something for leverage and grip. The rubber on this tool was actually a little too thick and took some work to get under the housing. After about 5 minutes I had just enough grip to get the top moving. Was an emotional moment, lol. Rainsoft Tech service would have cost me over 800. With this tool, resin beads, and muscle. I saved 650 by doing it myself. Tool was well worth the price, even if I never use it again. Highly recommended to help twist off valve housing on home water filtration systems.
