Performance that measures up against brand-name competitors at a much lower cost.
For years, I’ve been working with the full spectrum of ‘dry” media ... graphite pencils, both black and tinted charcoal pencils and pastel pencils (all from Derwent). I’ve always used quality paper from Canson, Strathmore and other brands, manufactured for use with specific media... charcoal paper, pastel paper, paper for markers/pencils and all-purpose multi-media paper stock as well. With the pricey costs of both factored in, it didn’t made sense to me to skimp on rubber erasers. So, I used brand-name products. And for that, I literally paid the costs. However, a few months ago I found the Uplama Brand 25-piece set while doing some product searching and cost comparisons on Amazon. I bought a set, and I’m sold. By far, far the most reasonably priced of the lot. And, after using them, of surprisingly good quality. Very little “kneading” is required to soften up. they can sit on the table all day and not lose their moisture. Most notably, they have a slight extra margin of stickiness that boosts the amount of excess charcoal picked up while in use to thin out over-applied layers. Only problem incurred was “my bad” ... Applied way too much pressure via a way-too-small portion of rubber eraser and ended up damaging the surface of 98-pound Canson XL Mix Media. One block will last for hours of continuous use. Fold it over, gently knead and you’re back in business. I’m a long way from needing another box, but I am going to buy another one anyhow, just to keep on hand in storage. Low cost aside, these rubber erasers hold their own in all regards.

Excellent erasers
What I like most about these erasers is they don't leave a residue when erasing. They lift graphite very well, are very soft and moldable without being mushy, and they're a good "medium size." The price can't be beat either. They have a different but slight chemical smell when you first open them that isn't unpleasant, and that odor quickly dissipates. I suspect that the binder used for the eraser isn't lanolin or other residue leaving compound, which makes them great for applying graphite powder over line work without erasures attracting too much of the powder. Highly recommended. I've ordered two boxes of them. I don't want to be without these now.

not very soft
not very soft when you open it but you just have to knead it in your hands for a while but very worth it plus it is only 50 cents per eraser.

Prefer these over name brands
I purchased for charcoal drawing classes iI teach, but now use these in my professional work. They are easier to knead.

Never buy these again
These are NOT soft, easy to use and a complete waste of money. For starters, the plastic wrap is dome kind of adhesive tape which ruins the outside. Not pliable, kept breaking apart, does not erase even the faintest of of pencil marks. Don't waste your money!
