Zippo Armor Brushed Brass Pocket Lighter

Good product. I meant to get the shiny one but this is exactly what it describes and like all zippos it works flawlessly. The metal is much thicker then a normal one and this adds to the Weight. When you hold it and use it you know you have a heavy duty lighter that will last many many years. The coating will fade after prolonged use and anyone who knows zippos that's the desired effect. I've attached photos of the lighter after a few months of using it nonstop. I've also dropped it a few times and you will see battle damage but that add character.

I was looking for a cheap lighter that was better quality than dollar store lighters, and just looked generally sleek, and I certainly found it. Unsurprisingly, it comes from zippo, but I was definitely surprised at how much I love this lighter. I'm a non-smoker, but occasionally find myself needing a fire starter or having to burn the end of a rope, and this lighter does the trick. Pros: -Fits well in your pocket -Brass version apparently has tighter seals, meaning less evaporation -Looks sleek, and builds a patina nicely -Totally satisfying to play with Cons: -Lighter fluid does tend to evaporate, but I'd say it's less of a problem with this zippo than other lighters -Purchasing lighter fluid can be expensive (but there's a flint/wick/fluid bundle for $8 on amazon which is fantastic)

Zippo lighters work. They are reliable, easy to use, and inexpensive to operate. They have a real lifetime warranty that hasn't changed in forever. Caution, don't over fill with fluid, it will chemical burn you( ; .

I bought a brass armor zippo and it seems to be a working zippo. However when I opened the box I can immediately see a couple scratches across the brushed surface. Not a big deal but definitely noticable. The gap between the case and the cap is larger than every other zippo I own. I can see the insert through the gap at all times. It is larger towards the hinge and only touches at the far end. Looks like they spot welded the cap in the wrong place because there is also a large gap above the hinge. The insert seems to shift very easily as though it's loose. I tried an insert from an older zippo I own and it was so loose it would fall out if tipped over while the cap is open. Overall not quite the quality I'd expect from zippo but certainly a functional lighter. I am concerned the large gaps will allow an unreasonable amount of fuel to evaporate.

Zippos make surprisingly well fidget devices for those late nights, I guess you can use them for smoking but who smokes these days. Has a great feel, a very satisfying ting, and the flame work well until you are in about 10 knot winds then it dies rather quickly. May or may not have broken the flint wheel after too much use in 3 months. 8.5/10

Loose floppy hinge, sharp machined edges on case, "brushed" brass feels jagged. If not for these problems, this things would be absolutely killer. The increase in shell thickness is a big improvement over a standard zippo. You pick it up and immediately go, "yeah, that's better."

Has a nice weight in your palm and the finish is just what I wanted. The only possible down side is it has replaced my fidget spinner as something to play with on long conference calls. Just love the smooth feel of opening and closing it.

J ai acheté quelques zippo sur Amazon le modèle à 20 EUR chrome et 2 fois la charnière à cède alors que je fait attention. Par contre celui ci a l air vraiment en laiton massif il est beau ojp plus lourd que le model chromé qui lui est peint ! Il a l air costaud et est très beau pour le prix ça vaut le coup

Lo zippo ottone spazzolato massiccio e rinforzato per eccellenza, senza strani disegni o placche dalla difficile pulizia. La spazzolatura permette di evitare l'effetto impronte digitali se si hanno le mani sudate o sporche, raccoglie un po' di sporco ma poi è facilissimo da pulire. L'ottone è trattato in modo da non ossidarsi mai. Il modello arrivato è stato prodotto nel Novembre 2020 (K 20).
