Hario V60 "Clear" Glass Range Server, 800ml

Very nice looking and very high quality. Capacity was great for 1-2 cups of pour-over coffee. Smooth pouring with no dripping. Some have noted it feels thinner or more delicate than less expensive alternatives. I did not get that impression. Also, this is made of borosilicate glass, which is stronger and more temp shock-proof (and more expensive) than standard glass (used for beakers in science labs). The lid is nicely crafted and doubles as a drip rest for your pour-over cone. And made in Japan. Would definitely buy again or gift to a friend.

I really love the Hario V60"Clear" Glass Range Coffee Server, 600ml. First, the craftsmanship of this carafe is very fine and excellent. Yes, it is delicate glass. You will not be placing this on a burner to keep your coffee hot, but if you pre-warm this carafe with some hot water before brewing your coffee into it, it will keep your coffee at optimal drinking temperature. Furthermore, the markings on the carafe allow you to see how much coffee you have brewed when doing pour-over into it. 400 ml is a good sized mug of coffee. Get the 600ml carafe if you want to make two cups of your favorite brew to share. If you couple this carafe with Hario's ceramic dripper the fit and finish is perfect. You will be brewing and serving pour over coffee like a pro and the coffee will taste fantastic. Tip: hand wash and dry this carafe. I would not put it in a dishwasher and risk 'scrubbing off' the markings on the carafe. Handle the carafe carefully since it is delicate glass. It is not made to be like a Pyrex glass utensil that can hold up to oven temperatures. I really do not have anything negative to write. I simply love this carafe and would buy it again without hesitation.

Looks great, works well with my brewers, love this thing. If you get this server and are confused why the list doesn't fit (the silicone just rolls over itself), just get it wet a little bit like you would when you have hot coffee in there generating steam. I almost returned this thing because of that. One minor complaint, the handle can get slippery when you either have slightly oily hands (eating food while brewing you and your S/O's coffee on a busy morning), or you re-use it and only put it through the dishwasher once a week. This leads to your fingers sliding up the handle and you burning yourself on the scalding hot coffee in the server if you're not careful. Maybe a bend in the handle, and lip for your thumb or fingers to stop on, a larger handle, a grip, or some kind of thermal barrier at the inside-top of the handle could prevent this.

I love the V60 800ml and have been using it almost daily since I purchased it! I initially was going to purchase the 600ml and on a whim, upgraded to the 800ml and it was a good choice. I believe the 600 would have been too small. Let me say that the glass is thin BUT it is not BRITTLE like crystal. That being said I could still see how, if you were to wash it with other items in the sink, you could easily crack it or shatter it. If you drop it, it is a done deal! All that being said the Hario Server is definitely HIGH QUALITY and is perfect for Pour Over needs! The stopper is a great bonus and works great. I would say that, as with any glass container, don't expect this to maintain the heat of your coffee. For function and purpose, I don't believe that any other Glass Range Server matches it (I would say it is better than a Chemex, due to the fact of EASY cleaning). Well worth the money and I highly recommend!

Classic shape, just enough room for two thermoses or drink first cup at home, take a thermos. Durable and high quality.

Absolutely love this carafe! I primarily use it for pour-over coffee, and it works perfectly. The clear glass makes it easy to monitor the brew and helps prevent overflow or spills. The glass feels sturdy and durable, and the design is simple to use. The handle is comfortable to hold, and the wide mouth fits a pour-over securely without any risk of tipping.

It’s a nice server. Small in size and holds a lot of coffee. My issue with this pot is I have high concerns of its fragility. It seems extremely fragile, and I wash it by itself and not with the rest of my dishes because I’m worried about it breaking. I’ve had it for a few months and it’s been fine but I’ve also been super careful. So my only gripe is I wish the company would make the server much thicker so it’ll have less chances of breaking or cracking.

I love this carafe or whatever it's called. I like the wave effect on the glass and it seems substantial. I'm very careful with it so as not to let it break. I love the smooth fit of the cap insert on top. It really does fit well and it doesn't feel like some cheap hard plastic. It's actually a softer plastic that seems to have some suction as it's inserted into the neck of the carafe for a tight fit. i've started using it for my tea also even though I have several Hario glass tea pots. A beautiful piece to behold and use. My coffee and tea habits have been elevated!

This is a great little server to catch all the bean goodness.

Works very well for myself. Two cups of coffee,,great container and no fuss. I grind coffee beans daily so this is absolutely perfect for me.

Even if you’re brewing 1 cup the large server provide more concentrated aroma to enjoy!

Large capacity, could comfortably fit 750ml Same brand as my filter but fits super nice and easy with the filter, both with the lid and without. Think it’s good value on here, have seen in artisan coffee shops for much higher prices! Super easy to clean despite the ribbed effect
