Good, accurate and inexpensive
Great strips for testing a wide range of acid to base. Not extremely precise but, they'll give you results over a wide range. If you're looking for precision, then you'll have to choose a set of strips in a narrower range. I find these perfect for giving me an overall sense of PH levels my Hot tub. Once I get the levels back in whack, I switch to the standard spa strips for a narrower range for better measuring.

The test strips were shipped on time like promised. I have tested my drinking water and others and they seem to work fine. At first they seem to be a little hard to read, as far as matching the colors but I'm getting better at it. The only con I have with these is the little box that they are stored in is really hard to open the first time but if you don't close it up tight after opening it your good to go. I think some thought should be given to making a better storage container.

Not as advertised
I ordered this summer for testing my swimming pool for specific minerals. The product arrived in a timely manner. For that it gets one star. Otherwise, I was not happy with the purchase and returned it. There were no directions enclosed with it although the box specifically said to use acccording to enclosed instructions. The product description says that it can be used to test for many different substances in water but there no way to decipher what those are with this kit. I could tell that your were supposed to compare the colors on the test strip to the colors on the box but with no way to decipher what the colors meant it was useless to me. As always my return to Amazon was quick and painless but still took time to do. This is a real review by an unsatisfied customer. This product was not given to me in order to get a good review and thus give a false impression of a good product.

Work as expected, good value
I used these to test the gallons of bottled water that I use in my home. My city adds fluoride to the water , so I buy bottled water to drink. I tested several brands of water, and several other types of acidic and other beverages so far, and the pH values are in line with what I expected. I am only looking for an approximate value to make sure I am not drinking acidic water, so these work well for me. If you need a more accurate pH reading, these are not recommended. My one negative comment is that the plastic case which houses the strips is very difficult to open. It is a really tight fit and it sticks. I need to use a rubber glove to open it. Each time, I am afraid the case will go flying out of my hand and spill the test strips all over the floor.

Not all that, get litmus instead
I found these to be tedious, especially the construction of the plastic box. It's insanely hard to get the lid back on, and I fumble for 30 seconds each and every time. The 4-panel design is also confusing and often frustrating until you get the hang of it. It takes maybe 30-45 seconds for the colors to change sometimes, and then I wonder about the accuracy.Try good old litmus papers instead. Those are far easier to use, with instant results and better accuracy.

Update.... Heidi from Health Wise contacted me and found the 4.5 to 9 ph strips that I normally use. She is sending them to me as soon as amazon gets them. She is a great representative for Health Wise with her exceptional custemer service and making me one happy customer. If you have a dog with chronic utis and need to monitor their ph the strips that have a range from 4.5 to 9 are excellent and very precise. I highly recommend them.I like the ph strips from health wise that have a range from 4.5 to 9. They are much more precise. However I could not find them on the Amazon sight so I ordered these. I have a dog with chronic utis so I monitor her ph closely and these are not precise enough for that.

Fine for when you don't need precision
These were fine for my purposes: checking to see if our drinking water was neutral or slightly alkaline. They are not very precise, but that didn't matter for me. Be warned: the package is hard to open. I finally got it opened and a whole bunch of strips flew all over the kitchen floor. Since I didn't need that many, it was fine, but annoying. For fun I tested a lot of other liquids, and it was quite enlightening - especially with how acidic wine is!

Easy to Use pH Strips
This is a great product. It worked exactly as I expected. I purchased these to test my kombucha to ensure that the pH was at a safe level before consumption. The strips were easy to use and worked well. They come in a sturdy plastic case which is great. The case keeps them from getting wet or bent. I would highly recommend these for anyone looking for pH strips.

Works great for kombucha!
These worked perfectly for testing the pH of my kombucha. I’m assuming that my kombucha has a pH of 3 which is exactly what I was going for.

When you place in pool for 10 seconds some of the test strip falls off making the colour unreadable.

Great value and they arrived quickly.
These are not readily available in our city and are fantastic for making kombucha and testing ph levels of products (soaps, etc.).
