Excellent Ice Cream Mix
The media could not be loaded. I have made this three different ways now and finally found the sweet spot. First, I have a Whynter compressor model ice cream maker so I do not have to chill any containers. The first time Imade this, I used 1 cup mix with 4 cups of heavy cream. The ice cream churned up to be very thick and kind of chewy. So, the next time I made it, I used 1 cup mix and 4 cups whole milk, but the texture was more like ice milk. This time, I used 1 cup mix with 2 cups whole milk and 2 cups heavy cream, so basically it’s 4 cups of half and half. It was exactly the right consistency and texture. It took 50 minutes to freeze in my Whynter. Also, I put about a teaspoon of homemade vanilla in so it would kick up the vanilla flavor. The ratio of 1 cup mix to 4 cups liquid is just right to fit my ice cream maker’s pail without spilling over the top. It’s very easy to make ice cream with this mix. I like to eat it with a few amarena cherries and their syrup on top. It’s not overly sweet and tastes good.

Delicious and easy to make!
This mix makes amazing soft serve ice cream! The chocolate flavor is rich and creamy, and I love that it’s lactose and gluten-free so everyone can enjoy it. Super simple to prepare, just add water, dairy, or a dairy free alternative and it blends perfectly in a machine or even with a countertop mixer. The 6 lb bag makes a lot, which is great for parties or stocking up for summer. A must have for anyone who loves soft-serve at home! 🍦🍫 Great value! I highly recommend!

This ice cream is good
Originally bought this to make soft serve ice cream in my slushie machine. But as it turned out the machine does not get cold enough and it just stayed milky like a milkshake. So I decided to try it another way: I put 1/2 cup of the mix along with two cups of heavy whipping cream in the blender and blended it. I poured it into a glass bowl and froze it for several hours. It came out perfect and tasted just like ice cream you'd buy in the store. So this is what I'll do every time from now on.

Needs better quality control
The bag was not sealed properly and was slowly leaking into the box it came in. All my items in box had dusting of white powder on it from mix. When I weighted the bag it weighed slightly over 5 lbs which didn't make sense since their was only a dusting of mix on the items in my box so bag must have very short from 6 lbs before it was sent. The flavor of the ice cream was amazing and was able use easily to make a variety of different ice creams in my creami so would I buy again yes but hoping I am shorted on the mix the next time.

I am a little addicted. It’s really yummy
The birthday cake flavor is sooo good! I just stir it up with milk & heavy whipping cream and let it freeze. No machine needed but I do stir it every hour or so while it’s freezing. My ratio is 1/2 cup mix, 3/4 cup cream and 1 cup milk. Makes about 4 servings. It’s great on cake, pie or crumbling Oreos into it. It travels well too. I’ve taken a prepared batch on a few road trips and if it thaws too much it’ll refreeze very well. Definitely experiment with your ratio. Cream helps it be less icy but I will also make a shake with just ice, water & powder and it’s still tasty

Product may be awesome, but the bag is not protected when shipped.
I canmot recommend purchases of this brand until the company finds a way to protect the bag this mix comes in. The bag was placed in a box with other items ordered. The superfine powder was all over the other items in the box, even though I could not find a hole in the bag. Maybe it filtered through the seal of the bag while the bag is being tossed around inside the box, or maybe there is a pinhole somewhere. The product bag should have been sealed inside another bag to protect the contents. Now I am hesitant to use the powder, although technically I cannot find a hole in the bag.The powder smells delicious, though! If I decide to try it, I will update. This brand seems to be one of the most pooular ice cream mixes. I hope the company sees mine and other compainta about the bag.

Decent soft serve
If you want to wow your guests, this is NOT the soft serve for you. If you're wondering places like McDonalds, Fosters Freeze, Dairy Belle, and Dairy Queen, ALL get their soft serve base wet (premixed). It's a good quality soft serve mix. Gott's Roadside uses Strauss Organic soft serve wet as well, which is even better.I tried and tried to formulate my own, using this mix. Using milk does not make it any better or better, FYI. I finally gave up and started looking for a wholesaler that would sell me the base. The wet base is very expensive, which is $18 - 27/gallon depending on where you get it.If you need something in a pinch, this will work but it won't wow, your guests. I use this as lube batch, to get the machine going, so that my good stuff is good to go, when you pull the handle.Anyways, there isn't a mix on here that's any good. I've searched all over and used 4 different brands of dry mix. This is the only decent one. Like I said, if you want the real deal, it'll need to be a wet mix and you'll need to find you a wholesaler that will be willing to sell to you and they have minimum orders. I freeze my wet batches in my extra freezer.

Best Flavor and makes it so easy to whip up some home made Ice Cream
I have to write a review just to let everyone know that this flavor and the salty caramel are the BEST tasting. They got the highest vote from my guests. I use half and half with heavy cream. Don't expect to have a good tasting ice cream if you omit the fat. Why bother? I have a good ice cream maker that freezes without ice and salt. These mixes work great as all I have to do is mix in a beaker 4 cups of cream to 2+ cups of mix. I like mine a little sweeter so that's why I have the (+) after the 2. I can whip up some great ice cream in just a few minutes. Having a portable frother to mix speeds up the process. My maker takes 30 min to freeze. Love this stuff and I have all their flavors. I store them in jars and scoop out my desired flavor and mix. So easy and the soft ice cream is to die for especially when you make a high fat content mix. HIGHLY RECCOMEND!
