2.4g and 5g!
I ordered this for an old windows 7 desktop I decided to get up and running again. It didn't have wifi built in, so I was in the market for an adapter.Since I was using Windows 7 I had to use the included mini disc to install the drivers. Once restarting the computer, I how had WiFi. For some reason I couldn't get the 2.4g to load any web pages, but 5g did with no problem. Once I did a bunch of updates, I tried switching back to 2.4g and it worked, so it must have been something needing updating or some user error.I get great signal, and this is a low profile attachment so it looks cleaner. I recommend this adapter.

Great 3.0 USB Wifi adapter for playing LOL, low ping high speed
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. This USB wifi adapter saved my life. So my wifi stopped working on my MacBook Pro and it was literally useless without internet. Googling around and found that using a USB wifi adapter would be the cheapest option with good performance to fix this issue. Well the video speaks for itself. It is fast, possibility faster than my original wifi card lol. The ping is on the low low as well. Plug and play, very simple fix for my issue.

Works with some, but not all devices
I bought this to help boost the wifi speed of my Toshiba Satellite L75D-A7280. However, download speeds using this adapter on that laptop were abysmal. Multiple speedtests came back with pings over 800 ms, downloads under 3 Mbps, yet uploads around 60-80 Mbps. This compared to the wifi built-in to the laptop (802.11n/2.4ghz only) which got pings under 10 ms, and both downloads and uploads in the 60-80 Mbps range. Just to verify the adapter wasn't the issue, I plugged it in to my work laptop (Thinkpad T470) and the numbers on it were around the same that I got on the wireless N in my Toshiba. I verified in Device Manager in the Toshiba that the USB ports are USB 3.0. I also tried disabling all other network adapters to make sure there were no resource conflicts there, but nothing seemed to get download speeds on the Toshiba above 3 Mbps on any network I tried, at home (300 Mbps service, verified by speedtest run from my Nighthawk router) or at work.

Just As Fast As My 1750ac Wireless Adapter...!
I wanted a nano-USB wireless adapter to use on one of the internal USB ports in a MT computer I was building, so it would be out of sight, and pretty much behave like a built-in wireless card like you usually see on laptops.I've got an external Edimax 1750ac USB 3.0 adaptor I use on my other computers, so after installing this in the computer I got it for, I decided to compare the two. The speeds were neck and neck between them, while this was only like $10 or so, while the Edimax cost around $50 or so.So, yes, I'm very satisfied with it, and will recommend it to others...

Works well for the price
I bought this after buying a used desktop gaming pc. When I got home with the PC I tried connecting it to our home WiFi but unfortunately it wasn’t able to even pick up a WiFi signal hardly 20 feet away. I tried everything to fix the problem, buying a WiFi extender, resetting the WiFi card inside the computer itself, resetting network settings on our router, but nothing helped. Eventually I got fed up and said, maybe the WiFi card inside this computer itself is just terrible. So, I decided to invest in a usb WiFi adapter. Now it was time to choose. I wanted a cheap dongle that could help my laptop connect to the Wifi. My laptop modem was not working and I connected the Aigital and it work perfectly. I’m very happy with this product.

Worked Great!
Out of the box, used the cd to run the setup took a minute to figure out I needed to turn off the built-in wifi (instructions included on the cd) then, boom it worked. I was able to utilize the 5g band from the router. My internet speed tripled from 3 or 4 mbps to 9-10 mbps. (I live in the country and have only cellular internet) and my wifi connection is far more stable. My desktop had been able to use only the 2g band from the router. Within a few minutes of opening the box this device allowed my desktop computer to use the 5g band, easy peasy

It does what it says it will do
This is a decent high speed wi-fi dongle. However my issue is that the reception really isn't that good. I bought this with the hopes that my high speed verizon router would be able to connect nicely to this adapter. It doesn't connect that well to be honest, and half the time the internet is bouncing around with high ping.Probably would have been better to just get a wi-fi relay station rather than this dongle.

Great for an old MSI
I originally got this for an 8 year old MSI( 2012 edition) since it only had the 2.4ghz band. However it has had issues where I had to unplug and then plug it back in to fix a connectivity delay. It could've been a bad driver but only occurred using this dongle. As such I dropped a star off.
