I had hear about ruby chocolate and had the recipes from Dorie Greenspan's Cookies book for Devil's Thumbprints and she recommended trying to fill the "thumbprint" with ruby chocolate. The dark chocolate thumbprint cookie with the "pink" ruby chocolate in the "thumbprint" was so pretty and it tasted wonderful!

Even though I missed the mail man and it melted in the Georgia heat, once it solidified it was simple to break up and use. The taste was like chocolate and berries, delicately blended. Oh my goodness! Will definitely buy again in the winter time!

Maybe I don't have a professional taste so I can't taste "THE" texture.To me this chocolate tastes like strawberry chocolate, even my husband thought it was normal strawberry chocolate.

Most of my chips arrived melted together, despite it being January. Flavor-wise, I can't say I'm that impressed. They taste mostly like yogurt.

I love ruby cacao, and this didn't disappoint. My only disappointment is that vanilla flavoring rather than real vanilla was an ingredient.

First ingredient is sugar, but these pieces aren't even sweet! Next is cocoa butter and YES they feel like some kind of greasy mess in your mouth, then nonfat dry milk & whole dry milk. I did not know I was buying 'milk' chocolate. finally we get to unsweetened chocolate - NOT ruby chocolate, which is what I thought I was buying. Next soy lecithin, which makes all chocolate taste yummy...NOT!, its just more oily, greasy messy. finished off with citric acid to preserve this mishmash of ingredients and vanilla to try and give this "chocolate" some flavor, which it does not have. It is awful and since I couldn't return them, I THREW THEM IN THE TRASH WHERE THEY BELONG!

Tastes great! Seller lists this product as one pound. - it’s really 8 ounces, FYI
