These Really Are The World's Best Dumbbells!
The durability on these dumbbells are far beyond expectations. I recently purchased my second pair. My son moved out to college, so I gave him my older version I bought 21 years ago which almost look and function like the day I bought them (ofcourse with some scratches) Viewers say you can't drop them and yes it's true to a certain extent. But over 21 years there have been times I mistakenly did drop them. No damage just scratches.LET'S GET TO BUSINESS!PROS:Fast AdjustingVery DurableLess Wider than most adjustable dumbbellsEasy On your thighs because they're flat at the endsDon't Rattle as muchBeing Square will NEVER roll off on youExpandable (you're not obligated to purchase highest weight)2.5 lbs IncrementsGreat Customer ServiceFeel really good in your handCONS:Slightly Expensive (buy once... cry once)Shouldn't Be DroppedYou Pass On, a family/friend will inherit them 😆

Great and super convenient. Takes a little bit to get used to them.
Extremely convenient. Really looking forward to buying the expansion, only downside is that a lot of the weight is concentrated around the handle, so if you are used to traditional dumbbells they can feel a little heavier due to the different weight distribution. Love them

Convenient, solid, and space saving.
I have wanted these for years. It’s been great to have these at home. I can work out when it’s convenient. They don’t take up a ton of space and they seem to be very solid. I wish I have pulled the trigger sooner.

Great for home gym
I've owned these for just under a month and have been really pleased with the PowerBlock Elite EXP Stage 1 (5-50lb) Adjustable Dumbbells. Really happy to have in my home gym where space is tight. They are easy to adjust once you get the hang of them and feel durable. If these continue to perform I plan on upgrading to stage 2.

Excellent dumbbells!
Comes with two dumbbells. Each dumbbell can be easily adjusted anywhere between 5-50lbs. Must buy the stage 1 expansion pack (55-70lb each dumbbell) before buying the stage 2 (75-90lb each dumbbell)Haven’t used yet, but very high quality!

durable and practical
The power blocks are durable and practical. From what I have observed from my first week of owning them, they appear they will most likely last for the next ten years, if taken care of correctly. When lifting the power blocks they are a bit cumbersome but that is not a deal breaker for myself. When using the four point pin to adjust the weights on the powerbocks they sometimes get latched/inserted into the pin holes above or below the pin hole that I intended to put pin in. This is not a big problem because all one needs to do is pull the pin out and readjust the four point pin into the correct pin holes. The four point pins that go into the power blocks rrr made of plastic. I have read in other reviews that the four point pins sometime snap. In my experience as long as the owner takes care of the blocks they will hopeful last for ten years. When I first open the box I notice a plastic lining on every other power blocks weight. The power blocks go by ten pound increments. white = 30, purple = 40, green = 50, yellow = 60, blue = 70, red = 80, and black = 90. The 40, 60, and 80lb weights had a plastic lining, and the 30, 50, 70, and 90lb did not have a plastic lining. I believe the plastic lining purpose is to have the weight slide up and down comfortably. The power blocks have a rubber grip. In my humble opinion they would be a 5/5 if the grips were made of metal, or aluminum, or a harder material.I will write an another review in 2034. Lol. Over all the power blocks are great. They are practical and no major problems. I would recommend this product for anyone looking for a home work out. I would rate a 4/5 stars.

Perfect
Game changer for working out. The accessibility is really handy for someone trying to cut out gym expenses every month. Had to buy the expansions later to keep going up in weight. Looking forward to buying the last expansion when the time comes.

First impressions: they're heavy as advertised.
Really what more can you say about a weight? Alright I suppose there's a little more for these.Unlike some of the other reviewers here and for a lot of other adjustable dumbbells, I was happy to see that everything came out of the box totally intact. Now that it's all out of the boxes (yes it's two and that's a good thing for everyone involved), it's all really easy to adjust and feels solid in the hand.I think you actually could adjust these down quickly enough to use 'em for monster sets of at least some exercises, which is a common complaint I see for a lot of adjustables, but you'll probably want to avoid messing with the adder weights during that. Adding and removing plates is practically free, but to remove one adder from one dumbbell, you need to return the dumbbell to the stack, remove the selector, pull just the core out, flip the lever, cover one hole and dump the weight out before putting it...somewhere (if you don't buy their stand, I'd suggest figuring out a good place for those), flip the lever again, return the core to the stack, and put the selector where you want it. So if you want to go 50->40->30 and so on, that'll be pretty speedy, but if you want to go 50->47.5->45->40, you might be better off grabbing something else for those sets. The cage design was also something I was worried about with these. First thought being that I wear a smartwatch to keep an eye on myself during my workouts, and I'm glad to say that my watch gets nowhere between those bars and sits several inches above them. I'm right there with others on one shortcoming of the design though: if you tend to rest your weights on your thighs before a set, it might be a bit less comfortable than doing so with hex dumbbells. No sharp corners or anything to worry about, but I guess the latter always worked for me because it was mainly my hands making contact with my legs there. Now it's mostly tubes and it just feels, like I said, less comfy.
