Good protection. Leather kinda thin in spots.
Overall I’m satisfied. It provides good protection when I was welding. However, I don’t think it will last as long as my old one did. The leather is kind of thin in spots.

Better than I expected
I'm new to the metal casting hobby and wanted to add something to protect against splatters or heat. I was hung up between this and the larger apron, and I eventually went with this. I'm 6' 2" (188cm) and I purchased the 52 inch version - the bib is close to even with my shoulders and the legs go down to my ankles. The lowest leg straps are a bit long, but I just run them around to the front of my leg instead of clipping them in the back and everything is good. With these on the heat from my furnace didn't bother me and at my workbench the sparks from my cut-off tool didn't even register. I gave them a 4 for durability only because I haven't used them enough to know for sure. It seems like they should hold up though. For me they were very comfortable and not too heavy. My son has aged out of Boy Scouts but I still like to do cooking for the troop. Once this Covid thing blows over and we can start camping again I will absolutely get another set of these for my dutch oven cooking.

New welder... With a little employment training... So here goes...
Looks very durable and thick haven't used yet, waiting for my mig welder to arrive to looks very well made. ***update*** Item works very well to prevent sparks and metal shards from flying into your skin. Absorbs sweat to help keep you cool in the heat of the day. Some of the pockets are too small for socket wrenches, screw drivers etc. A GREAT FABRICATORS APRON.
