Prell Shampoo Original, 13.5 Oz

Listen, I don’t have naturally oily scalp but occasionally I go many days without washing my hair and I need something. That’s really gonna remove all the build up out because I use a lot of styling products on my hair. This will absolutely do that. The color almost glows green. It reminds me of like…uranium? 🤣 the smell kind of reminds me of like an older woman it has that classy fancy, but almost medicine like smell. It will definitely strip the oil from your scalp and my hair felt squeaky clean afterwards if you’re doing a deep conditioning treatment after this is definitely a good shampoo to start with. The ingredients are primarily cleansing ingredients and surfactants. It lathers up pretty well. And it’s also incredibly cheap. This is less than five dollars. Keep in mind it is very drying so again followed up with something that’s more conditioning.

This is the most powerful clarifying shampoo I have ever used. It also burns your eyes if you're not careful. For guys that use a product on your head this is the stuff to remove it. I bet it cleans greasy dishes great too. I wouldn't use this as an everyday shampoo. I always use styling stuff in my hair and it builds up. It can also cause zits as it clogs pores. This just might be the strongest cleaning shampoo I ever used. It gets all the styling grease completely off my head.

OMG I ordered this for nostalgia reasons and I had totally forgot how fabulous it makes hair feel. It lathers incredibly and you get a clean that comes with no other shampoo on the market today. So glad I found it here I will be ordering more. I have very thick and very long hair. Works great!

Timeless classic with original scent. If you need to control oiliness of hair or want to remove buildup, this is a worthy go to. The value for the money can’t be beat. It will definitely give limp hair more volume. The quality is what I remember from when they used to put a plastic pearl in the bottle. Personally, I always use conditioner after unless you’re looking for a squeaky clean.

To be totally honest I'd totally forgotten about this shampoo that I used as a child. When I noticed it was still being made I decided to give it a try. Its been many, many, many years since I've used Prell and had concerned about using it with now permed hair. No problem at all. Left my hair shiny clean and didn't cause problems with the perm. The price is very right and I got great results!

This classic is great to use as a clarifying shampoo. It's also good in the summer if you live in really humid climate. It works well on my fine hair. I like the smell. 4 starts because it's not an everyday shampoo.

a favorite since im a kid love the smell and the lather it makes im sure its not good for my hair but i dont care i use conditioner and it smells just like i remember it back in the 70s :)

My husband has been using Prell since he was a little boy. He refuses to use anything else. While he has lost some hair, his existing hair is down to his shoulders.
