Great sturdy bed frame
Quick delivery - very small box for a big bed. Easy to assemble took no time at all.Bed was sturdy and well made. Finish is sleek and simple.Instructions hard to follow as items labelled differently to instruction booklet but once you work out what’s what it takes no time. The anti slip strips are great.Overall, fab bed for a great price I would 100% recommend.

Good value bed frame
Bought this to replace my son's old trampoline (well I think that's how he used his bed) which had just about collapsed. I wanted a steel bed frame which I hope will be more forgiving for when he jumps into bed rather than sliding into it like most people do. In addition, his is an attic room with a narrow stairway and an L turn up to it, so it had to be a flat pack bed so I could move the parts in bit by bit.The bed arrived, a day late but that didn't concern me since it gave me a day to disassemble the remains of his old bed and negotiate the bits down from his room. When it came to assembling, I got everything into his room and checked the contents. All there, and in fact it comes with 'spare screws' which is a nice touch since there's nothing worse than finding you don't have enough fastenings. The only downside is that the instructions gave a letter to identify each of the parts, however it was only the packs of screws that had corresponding letters. There were however numbers attached to various screw holes that referred to the stage number in the instructions so it didn't take much brain power to work it out.The instructions are simply diagrams so if you purchase this bed frame, note that the first few stages are putting together the head and foot frames. I strongly suggest you combine the sections for these parts since once you've tightly screwed in the first (top) spar, it's almost impossible to add the bits that come in the next stage. I found that I needed to loosely assemble the whole head and foot frames before tightening the screws completely. The rest was fairly simple but while there's a ratchet hex driver included, some of the screws are about 2 inches long so I used an electric screwdriver (with hex bit) to get them all the way in and the ratchet driver to fully tighten them. I did consider using my impact driver, but didn't on the basis that the steel used is probably relatively soft so an impact driver could strip the threads if the screw wasn't correctly aligned. Some of the screw holes wouldn't readily accept the screws so stripping threads is a real possibility (I did have an issue with one of the screws but realised what was happening before it become a problem). I did find that the electric screwdriver didn't fully tighten the screws so the supplied ratchet driver really was helpful.I assembled the bed on my own in about an hour. I'm not sure why 2 people are recommended, too many cooks ...? The final result appears to be a nice sturdy looking bed and my son is very happy with it. Whether it's teenager proof remains to be seen.

Good bed, came with damaged parts
This is a good bed, very sturdy, with easy to follow instructions to assemble. Also, brings a fantastic tool to help in the assembly. My item had a faulty beam that was impossible to screw to the rest. Luckily it was not an essential piece and I just left it unscrewed and didn't feel like bothering with support.
