This works very well and is a great value. The only down side is that most of the ringing sounds are too long and very tinny. The basic, classical ring tone is fine, though, and comparable to regular doorbells.ADDENDUM: Within 5 months the device failed. Others who bought around the same time had a similar problem which they attributed to the transmitter giving out. Since it was still within the warranty, I asked for a replacement. The company kindly furnished me with one, and the new one is initially doing very well. I downgraded from 4 stars to 2 due to the hassle, but if the new one lasts without failing I will again increase the stars because the item - if it works - is in fact a great value.

The pushbutton stopped working about a week after the cutoff for returns. Also there's only one chime option that sounds close to an actual doorbell. Decided to reinstall my old Heath-Zenith SL-6505.Update- The Seller emailed an offer to send a new doorbell- my repaired Heath-Zenith has been holding up so I declined, since I prefer the sound of a genuine chime to an electronic, but if I am ever in the market for any of their products I wouldn't hesitate to try them again. I've upgraded my rating and changed the title to reflect this.

Unit looks nice, very easy to install. The battery door didnt stay on since day one. I fixed that with a small piece of clear tape. The receiver would ring if someone walked by it therefore I had to find a spot that people didnt go near. Unfortunately, after just a few weeks this unit has completely stopped working. The battery on the transmitter is fine and I even tried moving the receiver to other outlets. I wouldn't recommend this product! Too many problems for a simple device. Disappointing.

We could never hear people knocking on our apartment door! This doorbell is easy to install with sticky pads. We put it right on our door at eye level and everyone who comes to our door thinks it looks modern and great! The bell part just gets plugged into a receptacle and you can choose from a multitude of bells, including holiday songs. Now we don't miss a package delivery and don't have to depend on our dog hearing a knocker and barking to alert us - we hear a nice doorbell first!

Great looking combo, very aesthetically pleasing but the chimes were mostly tunes that you wouldn't normally use. Like happy birthday tune or jingle bells. Most were classical music tunes that were too long, you'd probably have answered the door and greeted guests with drinks before they ended. Only two useful chimes were the actual door bell chime and the little mermaid tune

Worked great when I plugged it in and had the push button in the house. Then I put it outside and it worked great for a couple days. Then it got cold and it completely stopped working. Guess the bottom line is only buy it if you live in a warm climate. Oh and I just brought the button back in the house and after about 15 minutes to warm up it works again. NOT COLD FRIENDLY.UPDATE: They contacted me and offered to replace the item or refund my money. I accepted the refund since their item was only planned as a temporary fix until I could replace the actual doorbell button on my house. I appreciated their efforts from a customer service standpoint and would give them high ratings for this. However the product worked as I described above and I cannot change that.

Great wireless doorbell. Nice and fancy, the volume of sound is not very loud but you can hear it from every room. In the winter you cant use it because of the moisture and you I have to change the batteries several times and what is happening now is in the summer is the bell rings on itself once in a while and scare us because no one is on the door.

I love all the tones but the trigger stopped working after life the first WEEK. I wrote a review explaining the situation and the next day costumer service contacted me and sent me a new one. Very friendly and effective no doubt about it. But the happiness lasted not long enough. The second trigger stopped working last month and I just didn't care I just bought another doorbell. From another company of course.
