I love it for the price for rock cod jigs!! Work perfect and also the line is like 40-50lbs!! So if you get snagged you can get it out sometimes than to break the line!! Will buy more in future!! The colors are great!!

Great for catching rockfish and ling cod, etc. This variety with the 5/0 hooks is nice to help keep the smaller fish off of the hooks. I still pull in the occasional juvenile rockfish but by and large they stay off. I use them in and around San Francisco Bay with various live baits and frozen squid. These rigs hold together well. It's too bad nobody seems to make these in the USA, I'd be happy to pay more for a domestic version.

I have gone fishing with these lures out of Half Moon Bay 4 or 5 times this year and caught my limit every time. Oh, except for one where I ended up with 10 dungeness crabs and 7 rock cod. But, that is another story.

I used one of these rigs on a trip out of Oxnard, Ca and caught my limit of rockfish (10?) and 6 other fish in about 90 minutes. It was a great way to end the day. I was baiting with squid strips.

The pricing on these is good, but the hooks are on the small size, so if you're looking to try to avoid small rockfish these won't do the trick. I used them recently and caught way too many rockfish in the 12" range, which is not usually the case with true 5/0 or 6/0 hooks. Also they are not very stout - one of the guys using these hooks had a BIG hookup on a whole squid (probably a yellowtail) and it bent the hook straight and he lost the fish. Granted, these are for rockfish and not for big pelagics, but I've got big seabass and yellowtail on rockfish rigs before and didn't bend the hooks.So, if you're looking to catch smaller bottom fish with strips of squid, these are probably fine, but you'll have a lot more by-catch of smaller fish than you would if you use larger hooks.

Nice sharp hooks. Cod are very attracted to these flys on the west coast. Put on a piece of squid, jig off the bottom, and wammo !

I caught 3 nice size chuckle heads with these I just put on a strip of squid and got hit real quick. So I'm good with them
