i ordered this item to replace the original. my 2003 ford ranger xlt was hit from behind in a minor accident, and the rear driver's side tail light assy. was damaged. i looked to replace from local venders but shocked to find that they wanted $50- $70. i found this item on amazon and ordered. i must admit it didn't fit snug as there was damage to the sheet metal around the tail light, but with some light hammering i was able to get it to fit. the wire harness attachments fit excellent. overall i would recommend this product, especially at the price.

This unit would have been at least twice the price at my local auto parts store. It was well-made, easy to install, and fit perfectly.

I couldn’t find this part for my son’s pickup at any salvage or parts store. This was cheaper than any places I called and fits perfectly. No more worries about getting ticketed. Yay!!
