Smells nice! Real review!
It took me 2 hours to pick a conditioner because I was reading reviews. Seems like there’s so many positive reviews on products here that are completely made up and false. So, I read the bad reviews first. People complained about the pump not working, that it dried their hair out, that is was old and spoiled product, that it was an imitation of the product., that it smelled rancid. sighhhhThe product I received smells wonderful, almost like an iris, not strong or overpowering at all. My hair is moisturized and bouncy, the pump works fine. I haven’t used it long enough to tell if it’s helping with hair growth or strength.I just wanted those of you overwhelmed by reviews to know that this conditioner is just fine.

Great product
This is great for my hair, I just wish the container were more stable, too many times it has tipped over and shampooed my floor.

Good price, but so-so products
The shampoo is okay. It tends to dry out the length of my hair as it lathers up a LOT so I don't like that. The conditioner is the worst part as it makes my hair feel oddly flimsy, like it's been stripped of oils or something, and it tends to lose something of it's natural curl and quite a bit of volume too. I really don't like it at all - even a cheap dollar store conditioner has a better effect on my hair. Ugh. The only part I like and that may be working (other than _maybe_ the shampoo) is the serum. I really wish it was the older version though, because that version worked better, I think. Also, it had the texture of water (the old one) and was very light and actually gave a lot of volume to my hair (which is great to make it have a thicker appearance while you're waiting for it to grow) and smelled great. If I remember correctly, it also had stem cells from a certain European apple that was known for keeping well/not rotting for extremely long periods of time, but I'm not sure this new stuff has that in it. Either way, it doesn't have the volumizing effect that the older version did, and that's disappointing. The only reason I gave this three stars, then, is because I do seem to notice some baby hairs growing in - the kind that end up falling out before they reach more than about two or three inches, that are oddly white and black and very fine like cat hair. I know from having used rogaine type products before that these hairs grow in and fall out before new, more stable growth occurs, so I'm hoping that's what's happening here. I'm going to try to stay positive and if this ends up working very well, I'll let y'all know. However, in future, I'll probably only be buying the serum and maybe the shampoo. The conditioner really does pretty much suck for my hair, but other people with a different hair type and texture may find they like it.

Hair growth!!!
I was losing hair from using other shampoos and conditioners like suave, and when I started using this a year ago I have seen so much new hair growth over the year. Only thing is it has kind of a strange smell but it’s worth it to have hair and not be losing hair at 20 years old.

Here is the real deal, good and bad
Shampoo and conditioner smell like old man's aftershave from 70-80's. As soon as I poured out the shampoo in my hand...nostalgia..thought of my uncle, beige polyester pants, and his short sleeve yellow shirt. I don't smell it unless I run my hands through my hair and then smell my hands. The smell faintly remains once hair is dry. Secondly, the serum has a smoky ash odor which minorly remains after using it. All three products leave the hair soft by dry. However, a little bit of some kind of hair moisturizing cream or oil will take care of this very easily. I have used visceral, head and shoulders, Nexus, and purador for thinning dry hair. The andalou shampoo and condition leave my hair the softest out of all the others. I did use a little bit of cocoa butter and by the morning, my hair was incredibly soft. If your spouse is offended by the smell that just put a silk bonnet on. Problem solved. Despite the odor situation, these are great products. They are gentle and my hair feels thicker but the softness really impresses me. I will transition to using this product regularly long term once my bald spots are completely gone and hair gets a little more thicker and longer. Right now I need the hardcore stuff.

My new fav
Excellent hydration and it smells so good. Doesn’t weigh my hair down or interfere with other styling products. My hair is healthier and shinier, less to trim when I go to the salon.
