I would say no. You will need to poke the hole with something stronger, as I’m sure this needle would break unless the weave of the fabric is very loose.

are these bendable? i want to weave wire in and out of a grapevine wreath.

They are slightly bendable but since they are made of plastic, they will break if bent too far.

What kind of plastic? PVC?

Yes, I think so…the plastic is not good, and they are huge needles. They are still in the package, and I don’t plan on ever using them. Not worth the money, in my estimination.

Would these be good for making food necklaces with children? Like, would they easily poke holes through marshmallows and such?

I think it would be too messy and difficult to string the marshmallows with needles/eye this large. It would most likely end up a gooey mess on the needles.
